Samara stood there as she saw Kevin carefully reading the poem which took her so many hours to complete. Every single time she thought that it was perfect, she was proved wrong which made her rewrite it and this was repeated until she created a flawless description of her love for him. But this didn't frustrate her as Samara was passionate towards writing as much as Kevin had vehemence and zeal for drumming and gaming.
"It's beautiful." He said soulfully as he rolled up the poem back again and continued, "You're the best girlfriend, I'm so lucky to have you in my life Samara."
"I'm so happy you liked it." She replied smiling brightly.
"Oh jeez! I almost forgot, I'm so sorry that I cancelled the reservation at Le dîner. Can I make it up to you over a scoop of your favourite ice-cream?" He winked at her as a crooked smile swept over his bright face. He looked so happy after such a long time and his dazzling smile was making Samara's heart do somersaults.
"How can you be so perfect in everything?"
"Because I want everything to be perfect and I don't want to spoil it this time. Now, c'mon!"
**
"Mmmm... This is amazing." Samara exclaimed licking her scoop of black currant ice-cream.
"Mine is better." Kevin teased sticking out his tongue at her after having a bite from his scoop which was the same flavor. But, they had alot more in common than loving the same ice-cream.
They both giggled while walking home together as their our houses were only 3 blocks away from each other.
"Seriously, this day was amazing, the surprise last night, waking me up, the song, I'll never forget any of it", she said after they reached her porche."Wanna have a glass of soda?" Considering the hot temperature in Elmwood, her offer was tempting. Kevin nodded as they both entered her little house.
"Mrs. Jones not home?" He asked running his eyes around the living room.
"No, she isn't home yet. Let's go to my room." She offered trying to make her voice as seductive as I could.
"You know you're bad at it."
"At what?"
"Seducing people little miss messy!" He teased as they both walked upstairs to her room.
"Wait, I'll just be right back in a minute." Samara said reaching for the washroom to change into a much more comfy attire. She chose to wear a long see through tee. We all know where this was going now. They'd known each other from 3 years and now is the perfect time to do it. She bit her lips whilst starting at her reflection. Yes, she was still confused about it. "Argh! I'm such a confused teen!" She mumbled throwing her hands up in the air.
Letting out a sigh before finally twisting the doorknob, she saw Kevin resting calmly on her bed.
"Hey, what took you so long?" He asked turning his face towards her as he ran his eyes on her body making me blush.
"Stop! It's not the first time you've seen me like that!" She exclaimed embarrassingly.
"Okay, you come out in just a tee which is almost transparent and you want me to close my eyes? Hmmm... maybe I should change my mind about the fact that you're not good at seducing people."
"Really?" She charged herself on top of him and started tickling his belly and his laughter echoed the walls.
"Stop.. Please stop!" He begged breathlessly.
"Nope."
He gripped her hands with a sudden movement and pushed her underneath him. "How about this?" He asked pulling some strands of hair off her face before gently tucking them behind her ear. He leaned closer towards her, making her feel his sweet and minty breath.
Then, he moved his hands swiftly on her bare legs, crawing them up to her thighs before kissing her neck and resting his weight on her body. Unable to resist him anymore, she pulled his head towards herself and brushed her lips with his whilst he gripped her waistline pressing their bodies together. Their lips were entangled now as they moved much more rapidly flaming up her body. She let out a little moan as he moved his tongue teasingly on her lower lip whilst his cool, firm hands moved across her back, on the clip of her brassiere.
"Kevin.. wait, I'm not sure about this."
"I know Sam, we're not going to do that until you're ready." He replied gently as he rolled down on the bed beside her.
Just then his phone vibrated in the denims he was wearing, he took it out to answer it as Samara saw the name Dr. Melissa flashing on the screen.
"I've to take this." He said twitching his brows and walking outside the room to talk.
After a few minutes he barged in and grabbed his shoes hurriedly, "Sam, I've got to go."
"But where?"
"New York.", he replied tying up his laces.
"Now?"
"Yes, it's urgent. Thanks for such an amazing day. Take care." He said kissing the top of her head and rushed off before she could say anything further.
In these three years, they'd shared each and every moment of our lives including all their bad habits, embarrassing secrets and even their childhood crushes. But there was this one secret he'd been keeping from her since the beginning and she never forced him to tell her. She liked to give him a little space. But it was driving her nuts since last two weeks. She had asked Kevin numerous of times but all he said was that he needs more time.
Now, all she wanted was to know his secret and she'd do anything for that.
