Glenn, Rick, and I are still walking through several walkers. I hold onto Rick's hand as if it was my life or my death. "It's gonna work. I can't believe it." Glenn whispers looking around. Is he crazy? Noise attracts these damn things, and they clearly don't talk. "Don't draw attention," Rick whispers my thoughts. Suddenly the sky cracks and it feels like it shakes my whole body. Rain starts to fall on us and I slowly freak out. The boys try to remain calm while I continue to freak out. I look at my coat to see that the rain is starting to wash the guts off, and the walkers around us start to smell around them. "The smell's washing off. Isn't it? Is it washing off?" I panic looking to Rick. "No, It's not," He pauses as he sees a walker sniffing around, "Well, maybe." However, as more guts wash off, the walkers realize that we are indeed alive. One of them starts to charge at them and Rick drops my hand then proceeds to crush its skull with the axe. " Run!" He screams to Glenn and I. Rick, Glenn, and I take off down the street towards the gate with Rick killing 6 more with the axe and Glenn killing 2 with a crowbar he has. I turn around and shoot 7 as Rick and Glenn climb the fence. "Mads, over the fence now!" Glenn yells. "Madison, what are you doing?!?" Rick asks screaming. I shoot 6 more before my gun clicks. Fuck, I turn and climb the fence just as I get over the fence the walkers push it over sending me to the ground. Rick runs over to me, shooting a few walkers before helping me up and to the truck. "I'm fine!" I yell at him. We enter the truck, then one of them reaches the truck and taps on Glenn's window. "Go go go go!" Glenn yells to Rick. The truck speed away before the rest walkers catch up. "Oh my God. Oh my God. They're all over that place!" Glenn screams. "We need to draw them away. Those roll-up doors at the front of the store... That area? That's what I need cleared. Raise your friends. Tell them to get down there and be ready." Rick says mainly looking to Glenn. "And I'm drawing the geeks away how? I--I missed that part." Glenn asked confused. "Noise." Rick answers. Rick pulls up next to a red sports car and smashes the window. The car alarm starts to sound and Rick hotwires the car for Glenn. I put my hand over my ears. Glenn drives the sports car back towards the store and Rick and I take the truck back as well. "That was stupid," Rick said looking to me. I roll my eyes, "I had it covered Rick. Those ones were too close." Glenn pulls up to the store in his red sports car and is able to lure most of the walkers away from the store. I climb into the back of the truck and pull the truck door open, I bang on the door. "Come on, open up. We've gotta go." The door to the store pulls open and the group starts throwing their bags in the truck before climbing in. I go back to sitting next to Rick, and look back to the group, Merle is missing. "Where's Merle?" I ask.  T-Dog looks down, "I dropped the damn key." There is nothing that we can do right now, Rick drives the group drives away from Atlanta. Andrea looks around, "Where's Glenn?" Slowly but surely I hear the car alarm still ringing as Glenn speeds down the highway in the red sports car. I hear Glenn scream in joy out the window. Morales speaks up to Rick, "Best not to dwell on it. Merle got left behind. Nobody's gonna be sad he didn't come back... Except maybe Daryl." "Daryl?" Rick asks. "His brother, Daryl is going to be pissed." I tell Rick. Daryl and Glenn were the only ones back at camp that I could actually call my friends, and not a friend that I have from Shane. They're both really good with Joey too, as Joey looks up to Daryl.

Back at camp....

I look to Rick as the car stops at the camp, "Ready to see them?" He nodded, "It feels unreal. I thought I'd never see them again." I give him a smile, "When you're ready, come say hello. They'd love to see you, Rick. And can I say, I'm glad you're not dead." I lean over and give him a hug before getting out of the car. I barely take ten steps away from the car before I hear, "MOMMY!" and Joey crashes into me. Shane comes up to me and kisses me, "I thought you were gone." I laugh with tears coming out of my eyes, "We almost were if it wasn't for Ri-" I'm cut off by Carl screaming, "DAD!" Carl runs up to Rick and crashes into him, Lori then steps to Rick hugging him in shock.
