The rain had stopped within a few hours and night had shined over the city of Atlantis. Unlike the surface with a countless city lights lit, endlessly car horns honking, and lamp posts lighting through the city streets, Atlantis had little lighting in the city streets or on every building was small candles burning. Fireplaces magically ignited a fireplace that lit an entire house or building with a burning light that doesn't run on elasticity, but the overview of the city had the appearance of an apocalyptic ghost town.

Vaskàr took a hard beating against Romulus's strikes of the stick that made the human become paralyzed. However, this sense of pain was burned away by the Element of Fire thought to been disconnected from Vaskàr's use.

But his sheer willpower is what kept him from being a defeated opponent on the ground like a dead body. He got up again and again until he stood against Romulus in a burning display of a Mystical Warrior's strength until Vaskàr collapsed of the pain his body endured. Enough to knock him asleep.

This caused Haira to rush in and use her Gift of Life's power to heal Vaskàr's body. With the rain, she also used the Element of Water to add to her Gift's power. In seconds, Vaskàr's injuries were healed and may have saved him from death, but he remained unconscious for several minutes until he finally woke up. Then she would switch from her Gift to her Water to heal the blood dripping from his nose.

However, his awakening was in a weaken state; Haira only casted a little power of her Gift of Life on him. It brought him back from lying on the ground, but she felt a great paralyzing sting within her machine arm. It seemed Divra's warning was right about using the Gift's power, it is a physical power and Haira's current form was a ghost with skin, which the Gift doesn't harness from but the dead body within her machine arm.

Her body must have been numbed when using a little bit of her Gift. Since her body was dead, all the cells are in a comatose state. This makes the body from decaying into a skeleton, and for Haira to unleash her Gift's physical body had now drained her cells of her body, thus furthering the decay. She easily could have used the rain pouring from up high, but she wanted to test the ability of her Gift of Life.

For Vaskàr awakening from his brief knockout, he kneeled. The pain and numbness he felt had suddenly stopped throbbing, but he kneeled to keep from lying on the ground in a slow weak manner.

Gift of Skill, activate, he thought.

Then a half-dharma wheel of a red-orange fire color sparkled behind Vaskàr's back and his appearance changed. His Gift of Skill made his muscle reflexes and blood veins speed up the self-healing process of his body and made him stand to his feet. This skillful power he had really had the power boost any slow-processing but not his muscle strength; he still leaned on the two girls for help.

"Let's get him into my house and sit him down before he collapses again," said Lorelei.

Before Haira thought of helping her, she dashed to get Vaskàr's Sword of Fire grey again and the katana. She tied them around her back and waist placed Vaskàr's arms around their legs like carrying a drunk. Lorelei and Haira helped Vaskàr inside the castle shaped house of Lorelei. Inside was glamorous: a chandelier with purple lighting glittered the room like stars in the night sky.

A grand staircase stood in a glorious matter with a yellow shining carpet rolling down the steps. The flooring was cemented with pure marble like a marble table, but not white stone marble. Statues of warriors and Atlanteans wearing togas, which was a piece of woolen fabric in golds and draped over the body, stood on walls instead of what could be paintings in human mansions.

Pillars were decorated with scriptures of Atlanteans battling against fierce beasts from ships. Lorelei led Haira through an archway to a giant lobby with hordes of plants growing on the walls and around statues holding spears and balancers in one hand.
