After that, Taeyong didn't receive any calls for days, almost a week now. So, it was possible. The boy thought he'll get a call sooner but he didn't. He was still keeping track on Jaehyun. He kept texting his aunt for news and he's happy that the man's doing okay. The boy was still thinking about him.

He misses him.

Jaehyun was starting to tell his aunt his true feelings. Just a few but baby steps. His aunt even told Taeyong that Jaehyun was smiling a bit and didn't know that her nephew has dimples. The boy envied and wanted to see how the man smiles. It must be really sweet and warm. Just even a glimpse of can make Taeyong's heart flutter.

What was even the reason for him to smile?

The boy pouted, getting jealous to whatever or whoever made the man to smile.

Taeyong groaned and slammed the table, catching Taeil's attention who was quietly reading Luana's essay that made the principal to call his father.

"What happened to you?" Taeil asked, his eyes still on the paper. He was waiting for Taeyong to speak and he felt nervous about it. It took a few seconds before he the boy asked.

"Have you ever missed someone so much, hyung?"

The older raised an eyebrow at him, curious as to why the younger has to ask that kind of question, "No? Other than Ana, none."

Taeyong furrowed his eyebrows and frowned at him, "Doyoung?"

"W-What?! Really, you're still holding that up?"

"Hyung, of course. What do you expect? I like you for him."

"Yong, he's not interested in people like me," Taeil uttered.

The boy hummed, "Did he tell you?"

The man rolled his eyes at him, knowing that Taeyong's just backfiring him on purpose.

The thing him and Doyoung have is nonexistent. Although, Taeil did has a crush on him but there's numerous reasons why the older haven't confessed. Those reasons just got the best of him and time just passed. His feelings were still there, the problem was how to remove them. Doyoung never really noticed him. Just some quick glances, that's all. Taeil was just a senior to him.

"Let's not talk about it. This isn't about me, okay? You're the one who has a problem," Taeil said and went to read the essay but his mind was distracted about the thought of Doyoung. He couldn't concentrate and he blames it on Taeyong.

"Man, why most of my friends are such cowards?" the boy commented, "Well, Jaemin and maybe Lucas isn't."

"You didn't have to say that..."

Taeyong sighed, "It's not too late, y'know. Doyoungie isn't going to bite your head off anyway."

"Have you ever felt rejected?"

Taeyong kept thinking about that day and thought if he shouldn't have done it so suddenly. Should he really regret confessing? He doesn't feel like regretting, though he did make Jaehyun feel weird. Of course, it's weird for a guy to like a guy. It still sets an awkward tone. Well, he could have guessed that Jaehyun's not into this kind of relationship. But his aunt didn't have any violent reactions, so that's good.

They barely met anyway.

"Yeah...But in an indirect way."

"Good, 'cause I feel the same too."

The boy shrugged, "I'll call Doyoung to come--"

"No! You can't do that, Taeyong," the man shouted, but not too loud.

"You want me to prove you wrong, hyung?"

Taeil was taken aback, "D-Don't do that...I-I'm just finding a good time to t-talk to him. It's been years."

"Whatever. If that day will come, it'll come," the boy said before he stood and looked at the clock that was hung on the wall, "I should be going. I'll see you tomorrow, hyung. Thank you for today."

The older just watched the younger walk out of the room. Although he was acting the same, Taeyong's a bit bumped out. He doesn't really know why. That boy hasn't really talked to him about what's happening, except the events in university. If Taeyong does open up, Taeil just gets flustered and doesn't know how to comfort.

Looking at the clock, it was almost time to go home. Taeil stood from his chair and kept the paper into his bag. He'll just talk to Luana about her essay. Apparently, the little girl just has her own opinions and kind of alarmed the principal.

Suddenly, he heard a knock. Taeil was so sure that it was Taeyong who, almost every day, forgets something and comes back to it inside his room or the locker.

"Taeil hyung?"

The older furrowed his eyebrows and looked whoever who was in the door, and surprised him. He felt like dreaming. They were just talking about him a while ago.

"D-Doyoung...hey. What brings you here?" Taeil asked and gave himself a slap on the face internally. That was a stupid question.

"I hope I wasn't late. I went with Xiaojun for Bella," the younger uttered with the bunny smile.

Taeil nodded, "I still have some spare time."

Taeyong came home after a night walk. The cold breeze was very relaxing and wanted to take his mind off some things. He should think more of his priorities, like his studies. What is he thinking anyway? He's so whipped that Jaehyun's in his mind 25/8. He wants to bury his head into a wall. He's crazy.

He sighed as he comes into the house and was greeted his father.

"Hey, Yong. Up for a night drive now? It's been a while," his father asked.

The boy smiled, "Sorry, dad. I'm kind of tired."

"It's alright. Have some rest, kiddo. Dinner's in the fridge."

Taeyong comes into his room, threw his bag and dropped himself on his bed. He was looking at his ceiling, seeing the drawings he did and remembered he did the same on Jaehyun's. He just closed his eyes.

"You're being obsessed, Taeyong."
