It's been a few months, not too long, after what happened. Jaehyun's been pretty hands-on taking care of his aunt while she recovers in their apartment. He and Taeyong haven't had a proper time together but the boy understands that, both of them does. Taeyong's busy with college and work anyway but he would find time to take a visit sometimes. The hardest part was when Jaehyun's going to therapy and needs to complete a schedule, but Taeyong would always do something about it.
Now that his aunt's well and her cast has been removed, they decided to throw a small party for it. Taeyong was the one who thought about it. Well, it'll be just the three of them, unless his mother would join them.
After Taeyong got out of work, he went to a store to buy a small cake. He was excited. He could finally spend some time with Jaehyun a little more longer. He took the taxi towards the apartment with the small package with him. It didn't take too long until he arrived. He went towards the door and knocked on it.
Opening it, Taeyong felt his heart flutter as always when seeing him.
"Hey, bud," Taeyong greeted.
Jaehyun smiled, his dimples showing, "It's great to see you again."
The boy chuckled before he leaned and place a quick peck on his lips. He walked in and saw the aunt cooking who finally saw him which made her to leave the food she's cooking.
"Taeyong, great seeing you!" she greeted and hugged the boy.
"This is for you, auntie," Taeyong uttered and gave the cake to her.
"You didn't have to...Wait, are your parents coming over?"
The boy hummed, "Well, she texted me a while ago and said she'll catch up."
"Alright, you can sit down while I finish up."
Taeyong nodded and flopped down the couch. Jaehyun followed with his arm around the boy's broad shoulders lightly. The boy noticed how long the man's hair was which made him to comb it back, seeing how fluffy his hair is.
"We need to get you a haircut," the boy uttered.
The man looked straight at him, humming, "Does it look ugly?"
"No...On second thought, maybe you shouldn't. I kind of like having your hair in this kind of length," Taeyong chuckled, "Let's color it."
"I don't think I'll let you, bud."
"Blonde should look good on you."
Jaehyun combed his hair back, "That's for next time, please."
The boy frowned and crossed his arms but he only received a peck. Then someone knocked on the door, most likely it's Taeyong's mother, which made Jaehyun to stand to open it for her. Taeyong wasn't mad, he was just playing and kind of liked how Jaehyun just resorted on kissing him.
After, Taeyong and Jaehyun spent their time inside the man's bedroom. Those months they've been away, the boy just noticed how much his lover changed in terms of physical and how he acts. He figured that maybe Jaehyun built a hobby. Just seeing him again, Taeyong just noticed how his feelings for Jaehyun was deeper.
