Taeyong arrived at his university with the help of his mother driving for him. Before he goes to his part-time, they would go and have their morning class in the university. Though it seemed troublesome, it wasn't giving them extra work, and wasn't required to attend in the first place. But Taeyong always attends the class, just so he thought it was helpful for him to do his job better.
Of course, he wouldn't go alone. He pushed his best friend to go and attend it with him, every day.
"Good morning, Johnny!" Taeyong greeted happily, skipping his way towards his friend who was seated on the bench nearby.
Johnny nodded, "Morning, Tyong."
"Let's go? The class is about to start," the boy uttered.
The tallest stood from his seat and started walking towards their department to attend class, "I keep getting lazier and lazier every single day I come and attend class when we don't have to. You know that, Taeyong?"
The other chuckled, "I know. I just need someone to attend it with me. You're my only best friend who attends the same department as me. And also, didn't I promised that I'll sponsor your date with Ten? It's a good deal, isn't it?"
"It is, but the deal is torturing me when it shouldn't."
"Well, you need to work hard for it."
Johnny sighed, "Sadly..."
Taeyong has a smile on his face while Johnny looked so bummed out. Well, they are different but they are best friends since highschool. They just get along very well. Also, Johnny's his alterego. The man kept reminding him not to be too kind. Being too kind just means being vulnerable, for Johnny, and he doesn't want anyone taking advantage on his friend's kindness.
Both of them were walking on the hallway that connected to the other buildings but before they could step in, Johnny looked back when Taeyong stopped and suddenly called the guy who just passed by them.
"J-Jaehyun...?"
Taeyong called and Johnny was behind him, surprised at how his friend called someone he doesn't know about. The boy waited until the guy, in a black hoodie, slowly turned and looked back.
"H-Hi! Do you remember me?" Taeyong asked, quite sure that Jaehyun could atleast remember his face and not his name.
Jaehyun furrowed his eyebrows. He looked very confused.
"...Should I have to?"
Taeyong froze on his place with Johnny trying his hardest not to laugh. It didn't come out cold, or rude, it was monotonous but pierced through the boy's heart. Taeyong wasn't famous but people pretty much know him by face, and this one's different.
"N-No...Of course not."
The man crossed his arms as he just watched the guy walking away and entered the next building, with his friend still tense on his feet. Johnny sighed and walked towards him before he pats Taeyong in his shoulder.
"Sometimes, it's fine to feel rejection, Yongie."
The boy turned and looked at his friend with a pout and puppy eyes, "He just talked to me!"
