The next days were very nice. They were normal but sweeter. Taeyong stayed within his schedules while Jaehyun kept doing his therapies. They did start doing the dating therapy that seemed to be working. The man's been trying out new stuff, like dinner out, going for a ride in a carnival, going to arcades, generally, just having fun with Taeyong. Though Jaehyun's still in the adjustable state, Taeyong was always there to guide him.

There are little changes, some progress, and Taeyong celebrates it with him. Even when he received paycheck that was his allowance for school, Taeyong treated Jaehyun with it. Seeing the boy smile makes him want to do better, for him. Ever since Taeyong helped and him realizing it, the boy changed everything. Jaehyun still gets some bad days, but Taeyong was always there to cheer him up.

Why didn't Taeyong come earlier?

"Hey, Jae, thinking about something?"

Jaehyun snapped out of his thoughts and looked at the boy who was driving, "No...Nothing much."

"Anxious?" the boy asked.

The man shook his head, "This isn't new."

Taeyong nodded, "Okay. Atleast you're confident."

"It's because you're with me."

The boy laughed and pinched the man's cheek, "When did you learn saying that, huh? Now, you know how to flatter me, bud?"

"Auntie told me to flatter you at times. You do it to me so I'm just returning the favor."

"You don't have to things for me. I'm fine with everything for you instead," the boy uttered.

Although that seemed sweet to hear, Jaehyun didn't like how Taeyong's being too protective like he's glass. He gets it but he's different now. He was so sure he's better than himself in the past. Why aren't they acknowledging it?

They arrived in the clinic not too long ago. Both of them made their way into it, their fingers intertwined. Taeyong led the man towards Taeil's office, humming a happy tone because he gets to have some time with Jaehyun at work again. Well, the man would be in the waiting room for most of the time but the boy would check him once in a while.

"Good morning, hyung!" Taeyong greeted loudly once he slammed the door open which made Taeil to jolt from his seat.

"What the heck, Yong?" Taeil uttered annoyingly.

"Uncle!"

The boy's eyes widened at hearing that name and saw the little girl running towards Taeyong. She jumped, which made the boy to let go of Jaehyun to catch her for a hug. Jaehyun looked at them and didn't coo at them, instead he glared at the girl and felt annoyed.

She's stealing Taeyong away from him.

"I didn't know you're going to be here," Taeyong said in surprise.

"There was no school and her nanny took a leave for a while so I didn't have any choice to but to bring her today," Taeil uttered, writing something on the clipboard he has on his table.

Luana giggled, "And I'm going to get babysit by Dada's friend."

The boy furrowed his eyebrows, "Friend?"
