It's been almost two weeks and everything seems like it is going to hell. I've never seen the world like this until now. It's scary.
I've been training with Sam and Dean to improve my skills, know more things, and well, get stronger. It's all really helping. A few days ago I met Bobby. I was going to ask him about my parents but we've been busy lately killing demons. But I think I might ask him now. I walked into the kitchen where he was sitting and having a beer. I sat down next to him. I looked at him.
"What do you want? Last time someone looked at me like that, they wanted to know something. What is it?" Bobby knew.
"I wanted to know if you knew my parents. Cas told me that they were hunters."
"I don't know any hunters with the last name of Hazard." He told me.
"Hazard wasn't their last name. My last name is Hazard because I was an orphan. My parents last name was Meyer." I told him.
"Oh." Bobby thought for a second, "did your parents hunt with their father?" He asked.
"I believe so. Maybe?" I questioned.
"Oh boy." Bobby took a sip of his beer.
"What?" I wondered.
"Hank. That was your father's name. I worked with him on a few hunts. Your mother's name is Wendy. She was sweet. They were one hell of a team. I didn't know your mother as well but I knew Hank. He was hard working and determined. He had anger issues at times and would yell, but he cares so much for his friends and family. Dean actually sometimes reminds me of him. They were similar. Dean sometimes doesn't seem like the kind of person that will do anything to save someone but he is. He may be a pain in my ass and annoy the hell out of me." Bobby told me.
"Was Dean always like that?" I asked.
"No, when Dean was younger he was just a complete ass most of the time. But once Cas came around actually and pulled him out of hell, Dean has changed in a good way. Cas has changed him. He cares a lot more. I never thought that Dean would be able to be like this. But the bad thing is, the longer Cas isn't around, Dean starts to be like his old self. Recently Cas hasn't been around to help and we could really use his help. Dean prayed for him the other night and he never showed. That's why Dean has been upset and angry lately. Cas usually shows up. The only time he doesn't show is when there is something really wrong with him." Bobby explained.
"Bobby, the past two or three nights Dean hasn't slept. He's been doing some research." I told him.
"What is he doing?" He questioned.
"Probably trying to find a way to get Cas." I said.
"Dammit. That boy needs to know when to stop. Just like your father." Bobby stood up. He went outside. I got up and went over to Bobby's desk where Dean was going through books.
"Hey Dean." I said.
"What?" He flipped a page.
"Dean, look at me."
"What do you want?" He seemed annoyed.
"Dean! Look at me!" I yelled at him and he finally looked at me, "Dean, you need to get some rest. You haven't slept in almost three days. It's not healthy and it makes you weaker. Look I understand that you need Cas' help but none of this is going to help." I told him.
"Hey guys." Sam walked in and we looked at him. He was holding Cas' trench coat. Dean got up and went over to it.
"Where did you find this?" Dean asked.
"Outside, but look." Sam showed us the back of the jacket. Written in blood, 'Stop looking for me'. Dean grabbed the jacket. He walked to the desk. He took a deep breath.
"Dammit Cas!" He shouted and threw the jacket. He was starting to get really angry.
"Dean, you need to calm down. Get some sleep." I went over to him and wanted to give him a hug. He grabbed me and pinned me against the wall.
"You shouldn't be saying anything. You don't know what has happened in the past few years for me and for Sam. You can't say anything. I don't have much family. Sam is it. Bobby and Cas is all I really have close enough to be family. So, if you wouldn't mind, just back off." Dean was pissed but he didn't know what he was saying.
"I don't have much family either. All I know is that my mom could or could not be alive. Where I lived all my life, they weren't much family. So my family is pretty much a woman that I don't even really know about." I said. Dean let go of me. Now he feels guilty.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean-"
"No, it's ok. I'm just gonna go get some sleep. Wake me up if you need my help. I'll be in the Impala." I told him. I walked away and went outside. I opened the backseat door of the Impala and went in. I shut the door and started to fall asleep.
I knew I was going to dream something. I was sitting down on the ground and looking out across a lake. I've never been here.
"I know you've never been here Trish but I had to talk to you somehow without Dean around." Cas was behind me.
"Where the hell have you been Cas?!" I stood up.
"Relax. I have a lot going on up in heaven. It's almost war up there." He told me.
"Yeah, and Armageddon is going to happen down here." I said.
"I've been rebelling for Dean and Sam. Not for you. I do want to help you but that is Ambriel's job." Cas told me.
"Wait, did you talk to him?" I questioned.
"Yes." He responded.
"What did he say?" I asked.
"He's coming. I just don't know when. It could be tomorrow or it could be a month. I don't know if he will use a vessel or not. You will have to find out." Cas told me.
"Alright, but why did you want to talk to me alone?" I asked.
"Well I told you one thing and that was the war in heaven. The other thing is Dean needs to stop calling for me. I'm fighting the need to leave heaven. He is thinking that he has to stop Armageddon but the person that actually has to stop it is you. I figured it out when Ambriel came. It took a little while but now I know. Now you know." Cas told me.
"What?!" I'm scared. Then all the sudden Cas was thrown.
"You weren't supposed to tell her. I trusted you Castiel." I looked over and I'm assuming that it is Ambriel. He was pissed.
"I had to tell her. You don't understand Ambriel. I was told-" Cas stopped talking as Ambriel started to choke him. I went over to Ambriel and pushed him away from Cas.
"Stop this!" I shouted.
"Why are you protecting this weak and pathetic angel as he calls himself. He's no angel to me. What makes him an angel to you?" Ambriel asked me.
"Sam and Dean have told me everything that he has done for them, plus others. He rebelled to save lives. Angels. Aren't you guys supposed to protect and save lives? Or at least help us out?" I questioned Ambriel.
"He's the humans bitch." Ambriel said and looked at Cas. I looked at Cas and he was slowly getting up.
"No he isn't. He's a friend and an ally. We help him too." I told Ambriel.
"Not anymore." Ambriel told me.
Then I felt like I was frozen. Ambriel went over to Cas. He started to beat him up. No! Cas!
"Cas!" I shouted and started to tear up. I closed my eyes.
Then a bright light hit and I woke up gasping for air. It's pitch black out. I looked at my phone and it's almost two in the morning. I sat up and looked towards the house. There was a light on still. I bet it's Dean still trying to find a way to get Cas. I got out of the car and quietly went inside. I looked over into Bobby's office. Dean fell asleep on the books. Finally, he's sleeping. I grabbed my lacrosse stick and the keys to the Impala. I quietly went back outside to the car. I started the engine.
"Trish!" I heard Dean shout as he started to run towards me.
I drove off. He's gonna be pissed that I took the Impala. I don't care. I know where that lake is. I can feel it. I need to go there to see if Cas is still there.I pulled up the the lake. Right now I don't see anything. No one in sight. I grabbed my lacrosse stick and got out of the car. I shut the door and locked it. I started to walk around the lake. I heard something behind me. I turned around and stood this man with a grin.
"Don't worry. I'm not here to hurt you. I just want to talk." He said.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"My name is Zachariah. I am a Seraph. Well, an angel if that is easier for you to know." He told me.
"Ok. What do you want to talk about?" I asked.
"Armageddon." He said.
"I don't want to talk about-"
"What Castiel and Ambriel were talking about in the past few weeks, they've been right. Surprisingly, Castiel hasn't lied to you once. Also surprisingly, Ambriel hasn't left you. I thought he would by the way you were protecting Castiel."
"How do you know about that?" I asked.
"I know everything sweetheart." He grinned.
"Don't call me that." I said.
"Alright, I'll stick with Trish."
"What else are you here for?" I asked.
"I just wanted to know-"
"Trish! Get away from him!" Cas showed up out of nowhere and shot Zachariah away.
"But I saw-" I looked at Cas.
"That's not important. Just leave!" Cas shouted.
I ran past both of them and headed towards the car. I jumped in and drove away. I started to head back to Bobby's. I shouldn't of left Cas but I know he was just protecting me. Who exactly was Zachariah because Cas seemed to be surprised but yet angry towards him. As I was getting closer to Bobby's I couldn't stop thinking of Cas and how I just left him.
"Hello." Cas popped up in the car but in pain. He surprised me and I swerved the car then got back on track.
"What the hell?!" I yelled at him.
"Sorry, but-" Cas stopped talking due to some pain, "I don't want you telling Dean who I fought. I need to tell him."
"You know he's gonna question why you came for me when I was against one angel when half the time Dean prayed for you when we were in danger or we needed help." I said.
"Yes, but you don't know this angel. Dean will understand." Cas seemed sure about that. I didn't.
"Sorry about Ambriel and Zachariah." I said.
"It's ok. Just call him Zach though. At least that's what Sam and Dean call him."
"Why'd you come for me?" I asked him curiously.
"Once Ambriel came in your dream, I knew what was coming next. But did you mean every word you said about me?" He questioned.
"Yes. You are a lot stronger than people, well angels, think. I may have only known you for two weeks or so but you are a loyal friend. I understand that you can't always come to us because of what is happening up in heaven. Just remember, the most important thing in life is to have someone who believes in you. I believe in you Cas." I smiled at him. I got him to grin.
"Thank you. I believe in you." He responded. I smiled.
"Um, how are you feeling?" I asked.
"Sore. Pain. What do you think?" He held his side.
"Alright. You don't need to be so sassy about it." I murmured.
