Cas' POV

"Ugh, Cas? She just disappeared like you do. How is that possible?" Dean asked.
"She took in enough grace to be able to do so. This is not good."
"You think?!" Dean rolled his eyes.
"Castiel." I turned around.
"Joshua." I said surprised.
"We need to talk." He said.
"We are talking."
"We need to talk to you." Joshua came over and put his hand on my shoulder. Next thing I knew I was at a house.
"Wait, I know this house." I walked around the corner.
"Castiel."
"Chuck?"
"God." He said.
"I thought you were in heaven?"
"I was for a little while. I decided to stay here. I've been watching Patience. I made sure that Patience met her mother." He told me.
"Did you happen to realize what that led to?" I asked him. He looked confused.
"What do you mean?" He wondered.
"Trish has stolen grace."
"When did this occur?"
"Around five minutes ago." I told him.
"I know where she is. If you can control her, you can go. If you can't, then Joshua has to take her to heaven to get the grace removed."
"I can handle it." I told him.
"Ok." He put two fingers on my forehead and next thing I knew I was in a cemetery. I looked around. I saw Trish sitting in front of a tombstone. I walked over to her. She is sitting in front of her father's tombstone.
"Great timing Cas. Like always. But why are you here and how did you find me?" She asked then stood up and looked at me.
"God sent me."
"Yeah, right." She chuckled.
"I'm not joking."
"Why are you here?"
"Because I just want to understand."
"Understand what?"
"Understand why you want to feel stronger then you already were and why did you come here?" I wondered.
"You really think I was that strong?" She questioned.
"Yes." I told her.
"Every time I go to fight off any supernatural creature I end up dead or almost dead! How, in holy hell, am I strong! Please explain to me!"
"Because you decided to choose this life!" I stepped closer to her, "I know that no one in their right mind would ever want to choose this life! But you did. You aren't crazy for doing that though. You're brave and strong. No matter what has happened. People that choose this job are heroes. I know that you saved Dean before even taking the risk of killing him. Now, why did you come here?" I asked.
"Honestly, I'm not sure. If my dad was still alive, maybe things would've been different. Maybe I would be going to college. Maybe I wouldn't have died. Maybe I wouldn't have met you, Sam, and Dean. Maybe everything would've been a little more normal." She said.
"So you came here hopefully thinking that you could get a vibe of normality from him. Trish, normality won't get to you until that grace is taken out of you."
"I didn't come here to try to get a vibe of normality. Once I took one step into this life I knew that nothing was ever going to be normal again. Not even how much I try! So I stopped trying! The only thing that I do is think about what life could've been. If my parents weren't hunters. That's it. That's why I'm here." She told me.
"The next step closest to that is your mother being here. She is sorry and feels guilty about what she did but that was the only thing she could do. She wants to retry. Have a second chance for you two to be a family. Hunting together. Hunting side by side like you were supposed to be doing now." I told her.
"Wait, you want me to leave Dean and Sam?" She wondered.
"Your mother and I talked to Dean and Sam." I said.
"So let me get this straight. You want me to give up the grace, move forward of what has happened, forgive my mother, say goodbye to Dean and Sam, and then hit the road hunting with my mother?! You do realize that Dean and Sam are my family. You and Bobby too. You guys are real family. Cas, Dean and Sam are my brothers. Bobby acts like a dad to me and you-- you're like a brother or best friend to me. You're someone I couldn't live without. You are so loyal to me and I'm loyal to you too. I will do anything to save your life. I know you would do the same for me." She stopped talking, looked down, and started to think.
"And I'm trying to do that right now." I said and she looked at me.
"Ok, but how much will it hurt?" She asked. I held her shoulder then took us to God. I walked around the corner with Trish and God was sitting in a chair, "God? Oh my-"
"Me." God said with a grin.
"Cas why are we here?" She asked me.
"I am taking the grace from you. It is a lot less painful then extracting with a needle." God said.
"Ok, when are you-"
God held her face and started to pulled the grace out. He stopped while still holding her face. He took out a small bottle. Then he continued to pull the grace out but it was my grace. He was putting it in the bottle. He closed the bottle and let go of Trish. She was about to fall so I caught her. She's extremely weak and in pain. It's from being attacked by the werewolves. I looked at God. He touched his finger on Trish's forehead and then Trish was completely fine. I can still tell that she has the angelic blood in her though. She got to her own footing and balance. She looked slightly confused.
"Castiel." God said and I looked at him. He handed me the small bottle of my grace.
"I don't understand? Why are you giving me my grace?" I wondered.
"The creation of Angels were to be soldiers. Strong and powerful. Loyal and disciplined. Follow orders and missions. You may have rebelled but you have showed me a side to an angel that I have never seen before. You are extending the rules into your own personal ones. We may not be giving you a mission but you have your own now. You are a soldier alongside mankind. You are told an order and you listen. I want you to continue this. Castiel, this is your new mission. You will still be able to have all rights of being an angel but you should stay down on Earth. Your friends, or should I say new family, will need your help. You deserve the rest of your grace."
"Thank you." I said.
"You are welcome. Now, on to your new mission." God grinned.
I opened the bottle of my grace and looked at it. I got my grace back and I'm taking it in.
