Trish's POV
I'm getting changed into normal clothing because I don't want to be in a hospital anymore. I'm feeling a lot better and most of the pain has gone away. The doctor said if I wanted to be released, all I have to do is go to the front desk. Sam, Dean, and Bobby are out hunting for the werewolves. Before they left, Dean gave me a small bag and he left a blade in there for me. I put my shoes on and grabbed the bag. I pulled the blade out of my bag and into my jacket pocket. I went to the front desk.
"Trish? Room four-e?" A lady questioned.
"Yes, the doctor said I was allowed to be released." I told her.
"Yes, just sign here." She gave me a clip board with a pen. I signed my name and gave it back to her.
"The woman from four-b is allowed to be released in a few hours." A nurse came by.
"What happened to her again?" The lady at the desk asked.
"Animal attack four days ago." The nurse said and looked at me. She gave me a look like she was trying to identify me, "Patience?"
"How do you know my real name? I mean, how do you know my name?" I wondered in surprise.
"Your mother is here. She's in four-b. My guess is that you haven't talked to her in awhile considering you didn't know about this. You can see her if you would like to." The nurse told me and I walked to the room right away. I opened the door. She had her back to the door and was grabbing clothes out of her bag.
"Mom?" I questioned. Her head looked up. She stood up and turned around quickly. She looked at me.
"Patience." She said.
"Yeah." I smiled.
"You're so grown up." She smiled and started to tear up.
"Yeah." I chuckled and she walked over to me. I dropped my bag. We gave each other a hug. Then she let go for some reason. I looked at her and she was staring at my jacket pocket.
"What is that?" She asked.
"I'm a hunter." I told her.
"Oh, ok? What kind of animals do you hunt?" She asked.
"What? No. I'm a hunter, like you. Demons, werewolves, vampires. Stuff like that. Mom, I know about you and dad. I know everything." I said.
"Who told you? Was it John?" She asked and we walked away from the door and by her bed.
"John Winchester?" I questioned.
"Yes." She said.
"Mom, John Winchester has been dead for a few years now. He died saving his son Dean. I've been with Sam and Dean Winchester for awhile." I told her.
"Bobby Singer too?"
"Yes, they are actually hunting the werewolves in town."
"I never wanted you to know about this. I never wanted you to get involved."
"Then why'd you get me a pure silver shafted lacrosse stick?"
"Just incase." She said.
"Well thanks for that or a demon would've killed me. That stick was my weapon for awhile-" I immediately stopped talking because I don't want her knowing I went to hell.
"Just like Cassiel said. You were born to be a hunter." She murmured.
"Cassiel? The angel Cassiel?" I wondered. She looked at me.
"How do you know that?" She asked.
"Because I told her everything." We both turned around and stood Cas.
"Castiel?" She wondered.
"Yes." Cas said.
"Are you the one that saved her?" She asked.
"Kind of." He said.
"What do you mean kind of?" She wondered.
"When I arrived, well, I killed the demons then raised her straight from perdition. I had no hesitation to go save her."
"You let Patience die?!" She was getting angry.
"Cassiel's order was hesitant." Cas said.
"Does she still have her soul?" She asked.
"Yes, even after the second time I saved her."
"Cas!" I shouted. I didn't want him to say that.
"You saved her from perdition twice?!"
"Mom, I was taken by Crowley. Cas tried his best to save me. Isn't that right Cas?" I looked at him and he stayed quiet, "Cas, you did try your hardest right?" I walked over to him.
"We had to know and I had to make things right. I was ordered to." He told me.
"Ordered by who?" I asked.
"I'm not allowed to say." He looked away.
"Cas, who ordered you?" I asked him dead serious.
"It was decided together by two angels. Zachariah and Cassiel."
"No, Cassiel wouldn't do that." She said.
"You haven't seen Cassiel in seventeen years. Things have changed." Cas told her.
"Wait, what do you mean you had to make things right? Right with what?" I wondered.
"With the angels. I've angered them before you met me. Things are right now."
"Hooray for you. I had to go to hell because of you. I couldn't sleep for the longest time because of you. I defended you against how many people. I got beat up for you. Hell is the worst thing that has ever happened to me."
"At least you didn't go to purgatory like Dean and I." He said.
"Purgatory?" I questioned.
"Patience, purgatory is worse than hell. You know all the supernaturals we kill? They go to purgatory." My mom explained to me.
"Stop calling me that." I said. I'm getting short-tempered now.
"Calling you what?"
"Patience. No one calls me that. Everyone calls me Trish and it is going to stay that way. And Cas, was anyone going to tell me about purgatory?"
"I think Dean didn't want you to know." He responded. I stayed silent and just stared at him. I can't believe him.
"I can't-" I grabbed my bag and started to leave.
"Trish, hold on." Cas appeared in front of me.
"What?!"
"You're just going to leave? You haven't seen your mother in seventeen years and you are just going to leave? Even after those years of you looking for her?"
"Look, I hunt with the Winchesters. They took me in as family. Like Dean said before, blood doesn't mean family. Family needs to be earned Cas." I told him.
"Yes, but family doesn't end in blood either. She is still your mother."
"So what? I'm supposed to take care of her? Bring her to the bunker and catch her up on everything that has happened in the past seventeen years? Cas, you are family. You earned it. She left me when I was a baby. Never even thought about calling or visiting. She may be my mother but she is not my mom." I walked past Cas.
I went outside and into the parking lot. I looked for an unlocked car to hot wire. Ah, found one. I threw my bag in the passenger seat and hot wired the car. So grateful Dean taught me how to hot wire. The engine started and I drove off towards the high school.
When I got to the high school I went to the back. I parked and looked through my bag to see if Dean put anything else in my bag. Oh man, I love him! He put a pistol in my bag. I took it and got out of the car. I grabbed my bag and threw it around my shoulders. I walked up towards the end of the trail. I heard a gunshot not far up ahead. I started to run up the trail. I can hear people fighting. I stopped running and looked around the corner. Sam was fighting a werewolf. I cocked my gun. Sam got knocked to the ground. He was hurt. I aimed and shot the werewolf in the heart. It looked at me. I shot it again in the head then a few more times in the stomach and it finally fell. I ran over to Sam.
"What are you doing here? You were supposed to go back to the bunker." I helped Sam up.
"I wanted to finish the job." I grinned. I saw Dean and Bobby come around the corner.
"Trish, what are you doing here?" Dean asked.
"I wanted to finish the job and I helped save Sam." I looked at the dead werewolf.
"Well, the last one ran off somewhere. It could come out anytime, so why don't we-"
"Guys, down!" I said and shot the werewolf behind them several times. It fell to the ground.
"You son of a bitch." Dean started to laugh and he gave me a hug.
