Chapter 40

Dean's POV

"Trish, where have you been?" I heard Sam by the main door and I walked over. Sam was giving Trish a hug. Cas was standing behind her. I leaned against the wall.
"Dean are you ok?" She asked and came over.
"We need to talk." I took her away as Sam and Cas were talking.
"What? Why are you pulling me?" I took her into the hallway.
"Last night I came home and you came out of Sam's room. Then he stopped you and kissed you as he was shirtless. Are you having sex with him?" I asked her.
"You know, if I was able to explain where I was then you may understand." She said.
"Alright, where were you?" I crossed my arms.
"With Cupid."
"Oh bull crap!"
"No seriously. I woke up in a cheesy hotel."
"Fine but what does Cupid want with you?" I asked.
"Cupid can't touch a Winchester but he can with me. He's making me want to sleep with you and now Sam to help me chose who I love more and possibly marry. He's doing this because the next generation has to be the best and me with one of you guys, he said would be the best."
"That's messed up but wait, what about our first time?" I wondered.
"That was just us Cupid said."
"Ok." I smiled and nodded.
"Dean! Are you actually listening to me? I don't want to get married and I don't want to have kids. Now, Cas tried to break Cupid and his run with me, and you or Sam. Cas thought that kissing me would stop Cupid but instead Cupid likes it and he wants to try Cas and I."
"Wait, you and Cas?" I laughed, "having sex?"
"This isn't funny Dean!" She hit me.
"It kind of is." I chuckled some more.
"You were originally the only one who I've really slept with, that was also meaningful, before Cupid came along." Then my face got serious.
"Wait, so all those times were-"
"Meaningless sex. Yes!"
"Fine, then we have to do something about this before Cupid does something to Cas." I said. We walked back towards Cas and Sam. Sam just stared at Trish.
"Let me guess, you know what's going on now? And that we have to stop Cupid before Cas does something stupid?" Trish looked at Sam.
"Yeah." Sam nodded once.
"I am not stupid." Cas said.
"Alright Cas, who's Batman?" I asked him.
"Either you or a giant bat." Cas replied.
"Yeah we can't let him do something stupid." Trish said.
"Well, what can we do? We can't just kill Cupid." Sam pointed out.
"Resist temptation." Trish said. I chuckled. Everyone looked at me.
"What? Oh come on!" Sam gave me his bitch face.
"We have to." Trish stared at me.
"Don't worry about me. I can do it. It's just Cas I'm worried about." I said.
"Why me?" Cas wondered.
"You've probably never had temptation." I answered.
"So you won't know what it feels like and have to resist." Sam added.
"So what do we do then?" Cas wondered. I looked at Trish.
"What? Why are you looking at me?" She questioned.
"You're the one that Cupid is after so I think it's best if you aren't alone. Even when Cas isn't around." I said.
"Still, why are you looking at me?"
"At night, you can't sleep alone. So, who do you trust more? Me or Dean?" Sam asked.
"Sam, I would say you but because you do love me I have to say Dean." I did not expect that. I thought she was gonna say Sam.
"Ok then." I nodded.
"Throughout the day though, it doesn't matter who I'm with though. I just can't be alone with Cas around." Trish looked at everyone.
"Ok." Cas said.
"Alright good. Now I need a shower. Dean, walk with me." Trish grabbed my arm. We started to walk down the hallway, "I'm glad that you don't love me like Sam does or this would've been hell. Also, your bed is slightly more comfortable than Sam's." Trish smiled.
Oh crap. Why'd she have to say that? It's bad because I do love her. I just don't really show it. Unlike Sam, I know how to hide my feelings. Oh man this is bad.
