{Donnie's p.o.v.}
I'm in my lab, like always, working on some blueprints. I get bored with it and start doodling on the pages instead. I draw Sonny's ripped ear, her claws, her eyes, her tail. Soon, I have a portrait of Sonny. In the drawing, there is a wild look in her eyes, but also some tears running down her face. I'm too deep in the zone to notice Leo walk in.
"Wow, that's really good."
I flinch at the sound of his voice and look up. He looks down at the drawing, then looks back at me.
"Uh, thanks."
"How come you never told me you could draw?" Leo asked.
"Well, uh, I thought you guys might make fun of me or my drawings." I replied, rubbing the back of my neck.
"That sounds like something Raph would do, but you are really good." He picks up the drawing to look at it closer, "Do you keep all your drawings?"
"Uh, yeah," I take out my sketch pad, "they're all right here."
Leo puts the drawing down and flips through the pages, "Wow, these are amazing, Donnie!"
"Heh, thanks. Master Splinter got me that a couple years ago and I've been drawing in it whenver I can. I'm going to have to get a new one though, I'm almost out of pages."
Leo suddenly stops on one of the pages and stares at it. I stand up and look over his shoulder. It's the first picture of Sonny I did, the one where she's curled in a ball sleeping.
"Yeah, that's a good one," I said, "but I really like this one."
I flip the page to the one where the sunrise is in the background. I stare at Sonny's smiling face and can feel tears starting to well up, but I blink them back.
"We'll bring her home, Don. Don't worry." Leo says as he sets the pad on the table.
I was about to reply when my T-phone starts ringing. I take it out and see that it's April's number! I showed Leo and his eyes widened, "Answer it!"
"Uh, hi, April!"
"Donnie, come over right now! Bring the guys! A crazy cat girl is attacking me!" April yelled.
"I'm not crazy!" another voice replied. That was Sonny!
"Sonny?! April, try to keep her there! We'll be right over!" I ended the call and grabbed my bo staff. I ran out the lab with Leo behind me.
"I'll get Raph and Mikey, you go on ahead." Leo called.
I sprinted out of the lair and through the sewers, calculating the fastest way to April's.
{Sonny's p.o.v.}
I stood outside the window. It was dark, cars passed by on the street below, and I shed away from the light of their headlights.
Come on, Sonny, knock on the window!
I lifted a fist and hesitated, my hand inches away from the glass. The curtains were shut, but I could see a faint light on the other side. I finally mustered up the courage and gently knocked on the window. I heard footsteps and a figure appeared on the other side.
"I thought I told you guys to leave me al-" A teenage girl with red hair opened the window and stopped when she saw me.
"Uh, hi!" I greeted.
I saw her tense up and she was about to close the window, but I reached out and stopped her.
"Look," I said, "I'm not going to hurt you, April. I just want to talk."
