{Sonny's p.o.v.}
After I finished speaking, Mr. Murikami sat silent. I took this as a sign to leave and got up, but he gently placed a hand on my arm to stop me.
"The turtles are kind and caring, I am almost positive that they have already forgiven you."
I shook my head, knowing what he was getting at.
"I can't go back. They might have forgiven me, but I havn't forgiven myself. I just can't face them like this." I replied sadly.
He let out a great sigh, and stood up. "Come, follow me."
He still had a grip on my arm as he led me through another door that I hadn't noticed earlier and up a flight of stairs. It was dark, but I could still see fine, Mr. Murikami let go of my arm and walked into the room.
"There should be light switch here somewhere," he said while feeling along the wall, "Ah, here it is."
He flicked the light on and I looked around the small room. There was a bed in the corner, a dresser across from it, and a nightstand. There was also a comfy looking couch and a table across from it with a radio on it. On one side of the room was a door that I presumed to lead to the bathroom, but there was one thing that intrigued me, a bookcase.
I walked over to it and took out one of the books, but instead of a picture on the cover, there was just little bumps. Oh, that makes sense.
"Sonny?"
I turned my attention back to the man. "Yes?"
"I said that you may stay here until you work things out."
My eyes widened at this news, "Are you sure, Mr. Murikami? I don't want to be a burden, you have already done so much for me."
He shook his head and smiled, "Nonsense! Besides, it gets a little lonely around here, and I couldn't stand it if I knew one of my friends would just go back to wondering the cold streets of the city."
I smiled and hugged him, "Thank you, Mr. Murikami!"
He patted my back, "Your welcome, Sonny. Now, I must go back to clean up the shop. Please, make yourself at home."
He started to leave but I stopped him, "Oh no, let me clean it. It's the least I can do! I used to clean my house all the time!"
He sighed and smiled, "Okay, but be careful."
"I will!"
I rushed downstairs and started cleaning up.
{Donnie's p.o.v.}
I finally came to my senses and called Leo.
I waited on the rooftop and soon Leo arrived, not long after, so did Raph and Mikey.
"What'd you find?"
"Well, first I found these stuck in a vent." I showed them the bandages, I saw Mikey's eyes widen at the blood and Leo's eyes were saddened. "But that's not why I called. Follow me."
I jumped down to the window and climbed through, my brothers following me. I pointed out the blood trail and showed them the cracked mirror in the bathroom. Finally, I led them into the main room. They all gasped in shock at the mass destruction.
"D-did Sonny do all this?" Mikey asked.
I looked at all the claw marks, "It looks like it."
Raph clenched his fists and looked away. "This is all my fault." he mumbled.
I was surprised to see that he looked as if he was about to cry!
Leo put a hand on his shoulder, "Come on, let's go back to the lair, it'll be morning soon."
"But we havn't found her yet! S-she might come back here! We have to keep looking!" I argued.
Leo looked at me sadly, "Donnie, it's obvious that she's not going to come back to a place that she's wrecked. Besides, we've been looking all night, we're all tired."
"But-"
"Sonny wouldn't want us to wear ourselves out trying to find her, she probably doesn't even want to be found in the first place."
Tears were burning my eyes but I blicked them back. "She's in pain, Leo!" I yelled at him.
"Don't you think I know that!" he yelled back.
I was taken aback at the fierce tone in his voice.
Tears started running down his cheeks, but he kept eye contact with me. "Don't you think I know that? I was there! Every. Night. Calming her down after her nightmares. She's like a sister to me! To all of us!"
I looked over at Raph and Mikey and saw that they were both crying, and so was I.
"I know you love her, Donnie, and so do we. We all love her, and we're going to find her, just not tonight."
I stayed silent, my mind reeling.
"Come on," Leo started walking back the way we entered, "Let's go home."
