{3rd person p.o.v.}
The next morning, Master Splinter walked out of his room and into the main room. He was on his way to the kitchen when he heard a loud snore coming from the couch. He stopped and peered over the edge of the couch to see his sons all fast asleep on the couch with Sonny right in the middle of the pile. He couldn't help but smile at the sight of all his children sleeping peacefully.
He turned and walked make into the kitchen to make himself some tea.
As he waited for the water to boil, Master Splinter thought about when his sons were young. Back then, the boys were inseperable. Sure they would fight sometimes over toys but it would never last long. Now, it seemed like the boys were always fighting over something or other, especially Leonardo and Raphael.
That's why seeing all four of them brought together like that really warmed his heart.
When Sonny first joined them, he was a little wary at first, but he soon warmed up to the mutant feline like his sons did. Sonny had something special that made all his boys connect with her in one way or another. Like April, he thought of Sonny as a daughter. When she left, it hurt him as well. It was hard seeing his sons so dejected when they failed to bring her back.
Master Splinter was awoken last night as well when Donatello called after Sonny. He went to investigate like the others, but held back to see how his sons would react to a possible intruder. When Donatello came back carrying Sonny in his arms, Master Splinter had been as overjoyed as his sons! He considered joining them in greeting her, but decided against it when he saw the love in Donatello's eyes and knew that this was a special moment for his sons.
So he decided to just say his greetings in the morning. He didn't expect to find his sons all asleep on the couch together. It reminded him of when the turtles were mere infants.
The only way he'd get them to fall asleep is if they were all in arms reach of each other, otherwise, he'd have four crying turtles on his hands. Sometimes they would all fall asleep snuggled into his warm fur and if he moved they would all wake up and start crying! It annoyed him at the time, but now it was one of his most cherished memories.
Master Splinter snapped back to the present when he heard the kettle wistling and quickly turned the heat off and poured his cup of tea. His ears perked up at the sound of footsteps coming towards the kitchen. He turned around and saw Sonny standing there shyly, her ears flattened against her head and her short hair falling to cover half of her face.
"Um, g-good morning, M-Master Splinter." Sonny greeted quietly.
Master Splinter gave her a small smile, "Good morning, Sonny. I hope I didn't wake you."
"Oh, you didn't. I was already awake when you walked in, but I didn't want to get up so I just pretended to be asleep." Sonny replied, glancing to the cup of tea in his hands.
Master Splinter chuckled a little and reached for another cup, "Would you like some? I made plently."
Sonny smiled at him, "Yes please."
Master Splinter smiled back and poured another cup of tea and handed it to Sonny. She took it and happily sipped it's contents. She purred as the soothing aroma filled her senses. "I havn't had tea in so long I almost forgot how good it is!" Sonny laughed, but Master Splinter caught a glint of pain in her eyes. Master Splinter smiled sadly and put his cup down on the counter.
"What's wrong?" Sonny asked, placing her's on the counter as well.He smiled and said in a gentle tone, "It's okay, my child."
Sonny's eyes widened and her ears drooped. She stared at him and tears started bluring her vision. Finally she couldn't hold it back and Master Splinter enveloped her in a hug as she started crying.
Master Splinter rubbed soothing circles on her back as she cried on his chest. "There is no need to cry anymore, my child," he reassured, "you're home."

Well, that's it! Thank you all again for reading my story! I'm sad that it's over but I just don't have many more good ideas for the story.
I want to apologize for the many spelling and grammer mistakes there are that I may have missed and for having to bear with me for the times when I hadn't updated in forever. I wish I could thank each of you personally, but there are just so many of you! I never thought this book would have so many reads and votes as it does! Seriously, it means a lot to me when you people actually comment, vote, and share! Now, if you guys REALLY want to see more of Sonny, I'll try to come up with some more ideas and make a second book. Or if you have some ideas of your own, I'd love to hear them! Also, it'd be awesome if you checked out some of my other works! They have slow updates too, but what I have so far is pretty good, and I'll have more time now that this one is finished. It's just a suggestion!
Okay, I've wasted enough of your time. Thank you again and please Comment, Vote, and Share!
