12:30pm was the first thing I saw when I woke up. My head was killing me. Last night was fun, but rough. Great way to start off the new year with a hangover. I slowly climbed out of bed to put on my underwear that I basically threw across the room last night. I didn't have an extra pair of clothing so I just threw on Michael's sweater because I didn't feel like squeezing into my jeans.
"Hey that's mine." Michael pouted, looking over at me.
"Good morning. I don't feel like putting on my jeans." I whined.
"Ugh fine I'll borrow a shirt from Luke." He grunted. "Come lay down for a few more minutes." He said.
"No I'm hungry and I smell pancakes." I said.
"Pleeeeeease?" He pouted.
"Get up." I laughed, throwing a pillow at him and heading downstairs.
When I got downstairs, I saw Ashton cooking pancakes in the kitchen.
"Goodmorning." He smiled.
"Mornin'." I said, sitting down at the counter.
"You look exhausted." I laughed.
"I am. My head is killing me." He cried.
"You were insane last night." I laughed.
"I don't remember what I really did. The only thing I remember is me falling off the coffee table over there." He laughed.
"That was great. I almost pushed you off there to be honest." I laughed.
"I probably would've deserved it." He said.
He then handed me a plate and two pancakes. I poured syrup on them and began to eat.
"So, what happened with that girl last night?" I asked.
"Ssshhhh! She's still sleeping." He hushed me.
"You fucked her!" I said.
"Shut up!" He laughed, looking up the stairs to make sure she wasn't awake. "Kayla. She has a fucking daddy kink. He whispered.
"Holy shit she's one of those girls?" I asked.
"Fuck yea. I was a little freaked out at first, but holy shit it was fucking-"
"Okay I get it." I laughed.
"Well look who it is." Ashton laughed. "Michael Clifford." He said.
"Good morning daddy." I said in a soft, sexy voice to joke with him.
"Woah woah where did the daddy kinks come from kitten?" He questioned, kissing the top of my head.
"The girl Ashton fucked last night." I said.
"Dude you serious?" Michael asked.
"Shut up she is still sleeping but yea." Ashton whispered.
"Nice!" Michael said, patting him on the back. "Hey Kayla. Maybe you should-"
"Don't even go there." I stopped him mid sentence.
"Are the guys still sleeping?" Michael asked.
"Pretty sure. We all had a rough night I think." Ashton said.
"Dude can you make me a pancake?" Michael asked, grabbing milk out of the fridge.
"Sure." He said, pouring the batter.
"Ashton can you make me pancakes everyday?" I asked.
"These are only once in a while so no." He laughed.
"I'll make you pancakes everyday." Michael smiled.
"Michael you would burn the house down." Ashton laughed.
"Probably." Michael laughed as well.
Michael then sat down and began to eat breakfast as I finished mine and put the dishes in the sink.
"Kayla can you go get out stuff together because I got work later and need to get home and shower." Michael asked.
"Sure." I said, getting out of my seat and heading upstairs.
When I get to our room we slept in, I picked up all the scattered clothes on the floor and stuff them into a bag. On my way out I see Calum slowly trying to get out of bed.
"You looked destroyed." I laughed.
"I don't remember anything from last night." He said, looking down at his feet.
"You probably don't want to." I winked, then walking back downstairs.
"Alright let's get back home. Shit work is going to be awful today." Michael whined.
"Come on let's go. Bye Ashton thanks for pancakes." I said, shoving Michael out the door.
We then walked to the car and drove away.
"When is your next gig?" I asked.
"Pretty soon. I have to ask Luke. He said the next one is going to be good." He said.
"Exciting."
We then arrived home and pulled into the driveway. There was an unusual car in the driveway.
"Oh I wonder who is here." Michael questioned.
We then hopped out of the car and walked inside. When we got inside, I saw the two last people I wanted to see.
"Mom? Dad?" I said.
I knew exactly why they were here. Michael's mom somehow found them and contacted them. I was furious to see my mom, but even more furious to see my father. Why the fuck did he even show up.
"Kayla. I found your parents and they said they would love it if you would come home with them. You can start fresh and thy said they would help you on their feet again." Michael's mom said.
"Kayla I really think that you should come with us." My mother said, moving closer to me. I backed away.
"You guys are the ones that knocked me off my feet and left me. Why should I give you another chance!" I exclaimed.
"I thought we cleared things out?" My mom questioned.
"Doesn't mean I want to come back I'm fine with Michael." I said, holding his hand tight.
"Kayla my son needs to focus on his education and college right now and you're holding him back." Michael mother said.
"Kayla is not holding me back. She is actually encouraging me. She makes me happy mom this is what we wanted to talk to you about." Michael said.
"Well it is too late." She said.
"Kayla you had a rough life and need real help. You may feel happy with him now, but what if Michael is just like-" My father began to say.
"Don't you fucking dare compare Michael to my ex Michael is nothing like that horrible man who are you to tell me what's right you're the one who left me and wanted nothing to do with me when I met with mom again!" I spat , pointing my finger in my dads face. My mother pushed me back a little and held my shoulders."
"Kayla you need to relax. Maybe in a few years from now, when you're on your feet and Michael is done with school, you guys can meet again and get back together, but for now you need to let him go and come with us so we can help you. I know Michael has been great to you, but you need real help." My mom said.
"Kayla. You are not allowed near my son." Michael's mother said.
"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TO TELL ME THAT WE ARE BOTH 18 WE ARE ADULTS HOW DARE YOU TELL US!" I screamed. Michael then had to hold me down. I tried to break free, but it was no use, so I collapsed in his arms and began to cry.
"I love Kayla and she is no where near holding me back! She makes me happy and my life is perfectly fine right now! Mom how could you do this!" Michael yelled.
"It's for the best Michael. Plus if she stays here without us signing anything, we can get in a lot of trouble. You really need to focus on what's important." Michael's mother patted him on the shoulder.
"She is what's important." Michael cried.
"Kayla we want to make things right between us. Your father is sorry for everything and we want to make up the past 2 years to you." My mom said.
"Go get your things out of the trailer and say your goodbyes. Be ready in 10 minutes." Michael's mom said, walking into her room.
"10 minutes? That's not enough time." Michael said, holding me tight.
"Michael no matter how much time we have it will never be enough time." I said.
We then walked out to the trailer and began to pack my things. It was quiet. Nog a word out of our mouths as I packed my stuff into boxes.
Once I was done packing, I looked up at Michael who's eyes were red and puffy. I ran to him and kissed him hard. I never wanted to let go. I never thought it would come to this. What if I never see him again.
"Michael I-" He cut me off my pressing his finger to my lips.
"Don't say anything." He said.
He kissed me again and held me tight.
We sat in silence for a minute, admiring the last moments we had together.
"What am I going to do without you?" Michael cried.
"You will do fine without me. You and your band will go far in life and I promise I will come to your concerts if I can." I said.
"You're going to be backstage at my concerts." He said.
"Thank you for everything. For helping me find happiness in my life and for giving me a home and for showing me real love. Not just sex, drugs and parties I've never felt love like that. Thank you." I smiled, feeling a year slide down my cheek.
He whipped my tear away as one formed on his face.
"I love you Kayla." He said.
"I love you too Michael." I smiled.
A bang on the door interrupted us.
"Kayla honey time to leave." My mom said.
This was it. The end. I held him tightly once more.
"Promise you will wait for me. I will come back for you." Michael cried.
"Michael there is no one else in the world that makes me feel the way to do I will wait for you forever." I said.
"Well this is it." Michael cried.
"Goodbye Michael." I cried, sloping out of his finger tips and walking outside. He stood there watched me walk away.
My dad helped put my stuff in the back and closed the door once I was in.
"Don't cry sweetie. You might see him again one day. Or you might find someone new." She smiled.
"I don't want to see someone new. I want him." I said. I took one more glance at the trailer and saw Michael looking through the window. We then pulled away and then I no longer saw Michael. He was gone. Have I just lost my only source of happiness?
