We arrived at the place where the guys are performing tonight and began to set up. It was a decent sized place could fit maybe 200 people. I could tell they were all excited. I was even excited to see them play together. I never had seen them play together. I was helping Ashton put together his drums when someone called me over.

“Kayla come here!” Calum called.

I stood up and walked over to the bar area where Calum was sitting.

“This is my uncle who works here.” Calum said, introducing me.

“Hello I’m Mark.” He said, sticking out his hand.

“I’m Kayla.” I said shaking his hand.

“Well since it is a Saturday night I’m pretty sure a lot of people will be showing up.” He said.

“Well that is exciting.” I smiled.

“It’s going to be great we are playing five songs tonight. Two Green Day, One Blink182, One All Time Low, and one Katy Perry.” Calum said.

“Katy Perry? Really?” I giggled.

“It sounds great when we sing it!” He spat.

“Sure, okay.” I laughed.

Calum playfully hit me on the arm right before I walked back to helping Ashton set up the drums.

“Hey can you hand me that piece?” Ashton asked.

I walked over and pick up a small part laying on the floor and handed it to him.

“You excited?” I asked.

“Yea, but a little nervous.” He said.

“It’s good to be nervous. Once you are up there it will feel great. And this is just a small bar imagine playing arenas.” I said, now starting to imagine myself playing Madison Square Garden. It’s been a dream of mine for quite some time, but after I threw my life away I knew that was never going to happen.

“I doubt that will happen but it would be cool.” He giggled.

“It could.” I smiled.

Ashton then stood up and took a good look at his drums. Banged on all of them a few times to check if they were sturdy.

“Alright it set up!” He yelled.

The rest of the boys all then walked on the mini stage and looked around. People were starting to walk into the bar, get seated and grab drinks.

“Kayla I saved you a seat right in the front.” Michael said, pointing to the comfy chair sat in front of the stage.

“Aw I get front row seating? I must me very special.” I smiled, giving Michael a quick kiss.

“VIP seating.” Michael joked, slapping my ass.

“You guys are gross.” Luke said, strumming his guitar.

We just laughed it off and I went to go sit in the chair Michael saved for me.

An hour had passed and now the bar was crawling with people. Drinks in everyones hand, including myself since Calum’s uncle told us we are allowed free drinks the whole night. The boys went in the back to I guess “warm up” before coming back out. I then saw them all walk back on the small stage and pick up their instruments. I heard a few cheers from behind me, but found myself cheering the loudest. I was excited.

“Hello everyone how you all doing tonight?” Luke asked, picking up his guitar.

They all cheered back and there faces lit up. I could see the excitement on their faces.
