Bitch, Yoongi rapping in English will forever be iconic to me

🔫🔫🔫
Flashback time:

When he saw the short male walking into the classroom with a black hoodie and a bored expression, he knew he wanted to know who the guy presented as Min Yoongi was. The guy was mysterious and intriguing and looked so unapproachable. Lucky for Jaebum, he liked challanges. Also, he liked the guy's piercings and reddish hair.

He could remember the whole "Hello. I'm Im Jaebum. Welcome to Seoul." And him getting completely ignored. Jaebum deserved some sort of award for being so patient and persistent.

It wasn't until one afternoon when he found Yoongi fighting some seniors and helped him, that they finally had a decent conversation. It was a marvellous day.

Yeah, they both had gotten into trouble, but hey, Jaebum could now be proud to say that he had talked to the Silent Min. At least, that's how he had been nickname after not talking to anyone for a whole month. If it wasn't that he would be picked to answer questions in class, no one would know how his voice even sounded like.

After that, Jaebum was only more persistent, finding out Yoongi's natural talent for music one day after stumbling upon him playing the piano in the music room. Being a fan of music too, they had somehow started and finished writing a whole song in a single afternoon.

Ever since, Yoongi had allowed him to get closer and that's when he found another similarity between the two. They both practiced a martial art, although Yoongi had more years of experience than Jaebum, they both would go to an old, abandoned gym to practice.

Jaebum came from a well-enough family, not necessarilly rich, but he was able to afford some equipment and they both turned the old gym into their own place.

They were both miserable in their own way though. Jaebum was a lonely child, even with his personality, but he knew about Yoongi's own hardships. It had taken him a while to discover them and up until now, he hadn't fully understood the plethora of thoughts and problems that filled Min Yoongi's life.

However, he'd seen enough to know that Yoongi wasn't happy. Not one bit. For some, being dead would be better. But Yoongi was a fighter. He somehow kept going through the path that had, unfortunately, been given to him.

He knew that Yoongi enjoyed very little things in life. He couldn't afford to enjoy life.

Growing up in a poor family of four, Yoongi never received much. Up until now, he only owned very few articles of clothing and only ate two meals a day.

Jaebum had offered him money and clothes many times and even offered him to go live with him, but Yoongi had refused every time. The only things he had ever accepted were the occasional meals and drinks whenever they went out. That and his phone.

On New Year, Jaebum had gifted him a phone, not the newest version, knowing that Yoongi would absolutely never in a million years accept it, but it was recent and functioned very well.

As expected, Yoongi had refused the gift. It wouldn't only feel like he was taking advantage, but it was a hard blow to his pride. Yoongi may be poor, but he had pride and wanted to earn his own money through his own means. But that didn't stop Jaebum. He told him that was the only thing he would gift him and wouldn't accept a no.

After thirty minutes of trying to convince the stubborn nut-ass headed friend of his, he put the phone in his hands and ran off. By the fact that he didn't receive the device back, he took it as a win.

However, poverty didn't seem to be the only thing to be against the boy.

Jaebum knew little about Yoongi, but he did know about the only two things that Yoongi would allow himsef to enjoy.
