"Knock, knock. How are you— Jesus Christ, what happened here?"

Jimin stopped in his tracks as he took a second to look at the mess that were both the room and Kim Taehyung.

The room was a mess. The clothing racks were thrown over clothes that littered the floor alongside countless broken packages of make up and brushes. A few stools were lying sideways on the floor and one of the many mirrors that lined up the wall was broken, a very clear indent of the hairdryer that now laid broken on top of the table, marked the cracks of the broken mirror.

"Minnie..." The younger male ran towards him, immediately hugging Jimin and squeezing him tight.

Taehyung wasn't looking any better. His face was a mess, with dark steaks of eyeliner running down his cheeks, salty tears still making their way down to his chin. His face was red and his entire body was shaking. Taehyung was still wearing a robe and his hair was sticking out in different directions.

Now, the terrified stylist waiting outside the room made more sense.

Jimin didn't hesitate on pushing away his complaints for air and hugged the younger.

"Tae, what happened? Why are you crying?"

Taehyung was still shaking in his arms, sniffling loudly as he kept crying all the ruined makeup onto Jimin's shoulder. Glad that the younger was wearing a black suit.

"I.. I don't know? I'm so scared, Jiminie. What if something goes wrong? What if Jungkook decides that I'm not worth it? What if he leaves me? I'm so scared. I—"

His sentence remained unfinished as the ideas that terrified him so much overwhelmed the little comfort Jimin had brought him, making him cry louder.

Jimin sighed, patting his friend's back and slowly rocking them.

"What are you saying, silly? Why would anything go wrong? Should I remind you who helped you organise this wedding? And where did you get the idea of Jungkook ever leaving you? You should know better than anyone how much that kid loves you. I doubt he can spend another year away from you. He would cuff you to the bed if he could."

Jimin chuckled, feeling the way the tension on Taehyung's muscles slowly started to decrease in his hold as he kept a steady rhythm.

He didn't blame the younger for having a sudden breakdown. He was just hours away from getting married and he knew what it felt like to be in that position. He realized why it was such a nerve-wracking moment. It was just a little surprising to see Taehyung becoming so paranoid out of nowhere. The boy was the most easygoing person he could've ever met. Seeing him all nervous and self-conscious, it was really something he had never expected to see.

As the seconds ticked by, Taehyung had completely relaxed, his shoulders dropping and only the remnants of his crying could be heard through quiet sniffles. His hold around Jimin's torso also loosened and now they were simply hugging in the middle of the destroyed room.

"Are you sure he's not going to regret it?" Taehyung's voice questioned quietly.

Jimin squeezed him tight before loosening his grip once more. "Oh believe me, he won't. He's so smitten, even Kijung could see that. Don't worry, Tae. Everything is going to be alright.
