Namjoon walked down the hallway and out of the building. As expected, the eyes of people followed him around. He would never get used to it.
Everyone knew he was the main head. The leader. The 'Big Boss'.
He was simply very easy to distinguish, despite the fact that they all cover themselves from head to toe.
Besides the fact that he is clearly the tallest one, Bangtan members have learned to differentiate their leaders by recognizing the different patterns on their masks. They were, in a way, scary looking and blank, but Namjoon was a special case.
It was obvious by this point that every head wore a mask to conceal their identities. Bangtan was known for being the group that no one knows anything about. Besides the fact that they exist, everything from their leaders to their plans and even labels are unknown to the world.
Secrecy, the key to their success.
Their mere existence is almost a secret, however Namjoon was like an entire mystery. He was pretty much nonexistent. Or perhaps it was that he existed, but as nothing more but a lie. His identity as the highest ranking leader was like a myth. A legend meant to be heard only by those who are smart enough to not chase after secrets.
Trying to find out who he was, was like shouting into a void. It resonated into nothingness until it gets lost in into oblivion. For lack of a better word, trying to decipher the Pandora box that was Kim Namjoon's and his many phases, it was useless. A run in circles or a dog chasing after its tail. Meaningless.
The mask he wore was covered in intricate handmade designs. It is said that the paint used to make them was mixed with melted gold(and probably blood). At the bottom, a golden wolf silhouette with a what seemed like a single rose peeking of its mouth was carefully painted. It is said that it's valued in thousands of dollars and went through the hands of the most skilled artisans of the world. So much for a mask.
The mask was so unique and irreplaceable, that no one could exchange it for a replica. Namjoon was a smart man, he knew how to recognize his own stuf. The mask has a few add-ons no one except for himself knows. Not even Jin knows. Besides the fact that it was costume made, Namjoon liked to put his own signature on his stuff.
Even though the full face mask did a decent job keeping his identity a secret, he could never be too careful. Namjoon never allowed anyone that wasn't the rest of the leaders come too close. This created an idea that he was probably self-centered and arrogant, not able to even breathe the same air as people he considered lower then him.
That was essentially wrong in every sense of the word. Namjoon would spit of social statuses if he could. He was cautious about anyone getting too close and distinguishing any characteristics beyond what the cloak and masks allows to see. Namjoon is a lover of philosophy and very smart. He knew what was convenient for him.
Being a very closed person and leader of the most wanted criminal organization world wide has its precautions. Inside his mind and soul, Namjoon can only be described as expressive. No matter how little something is, the meanings he finds for it are vast and can make anyone change their perspective in life. It takes one look into his eyes to be completely taken aback and question life itself.
Just as philosophical Namjoon's mind is, as logical it can also be. One look into his eyes, you can have the answers to your questions. This man could conquer the world with only his mind and it would be inevitable to submit to him. It's up to Namjoon to think about it that way.
