"Lady Y/n, here to drop off the potions I asked for I assume?" Dream stepped to the side so you could enter.

"You would be correct Dream. And you don't have to be so formal with me you know." You walked in and placed the wicker basket on the ground.

"Are you sure?" He stood in front of you.

You hummed a 'mhm' as you bent down, rummaging through the basket and looking at the labels trying to find Dreams. You were looking for three potions only - health, fire resistance, and harming potions. You handed each bottle to him, then covered the rest of them again.

"Thank you for your kind service Y/n." He took your hand and dropped five diamonds in it, which was a lot.

Your eyes widened as you looked at him in shock. "You're paying me?"

He let out a wheeze like laugh. "Of course I am. Did you really think you weren't getting paid for all your hard work?"

Your face flushed red from embarrassment. "Well I guess I knew I was, but I just didn't expect to be paid this much for three potions."

He turned towards a desk that was placed in the back of the room and set the potions down one by one. "Well you deserve it for all the hard work it took to make all of those." He pointed at the basket.

You smiled, walking towards the door and opening it. "Thank you for being generous with the pay."

He nodded at you in response. "I'll see you later Y/n." You waved him goodbye before shutting the door.

You looked at the diamonds in your hands. You couldn't believe it. Sure you had plenty of money before you worked here but this was much more then you mined in a day. Usually you had to get your own currency by going to the mines for ores. Then you would have to smelt it and turn it into actual money which always took days. But at this rate, you would earn much more then you did in a week.

You dropped the diamonds into your pocket, then stepped back into the passageway in the wall to finish dropping the rest of the potions off.

At first, it was hard finding your way around the secret tunnels since it was so dark. The torch barely lit up the place. Eventually though your eyes began to adjust to the darkness. Every time you dropped off a potion you made sure to make a mental note on where they're room was so there would be a less chance of getting lost next time.

After the first few deliveries the rest were easy. Your nerves slowly began to ease as each person you talked to was kind. You even got to see Niki and Hannah again which was delightful. Your began to feel sore from carrying the basket for a good couple of hours. But thankfully your arm would soon rest as you delivered your last couple of potions.

When you started to head back to your room, the torch started to burn out. You mumbled a cuss under your breathe as you realized Ester didn't give you any extra matches. You hurriedly wandered the different passageways, the map quickly becoming more difficult to read. You looked to your left, a wall stood there. You looked behind you, nothing but darkness. It was the same thing in front of you too.

You looked to your left, your face lit up. You could just barely see light peeking through a crack, you knew it was an exit. You ran towards it as the last spark died before you could see which room this led too. At this point you didn't care, you just wanted to get out of the dark and small tunnels. You softly pushed the door open, climbing out of it.

You could already hear faint talking. You looked behind you to see where you came out of, it was painting. You smiled to yourself, wondering how crazy you would've looked like if someone saw you stepping out of a painting. You checked your surroundings for any clues of where you were. Once you did it was obvious where you were at, the library.

But not only that you could've sworn that just a couple feet away from you, you could hear the princes talking. You peeked from behind the large towering bookcase to see Prince Technoblade and Prince Tommy chatting together. Maybe you could sneak out before they spotted you. You held the basket close to your chest so it would make less noise when moving.

You looked down at your feet as you carefully took a step towards the exit. You smiled to yourself once you were halfway there. You were so close to the door that you even started sprinting towards it to get there quicker. Your face lit up when you were able to reach for the handle.

"Lady Y/n?"

You slightly jumped at the sound of your name being called. You quickly retracted your hand and faced the boys.

You kept your hands behind your back and fixed your posture. You cleared your throat. "Um, hello there Prince Tom, Prince Technoblade. I uh, didn't see you there."

The princes looked at each other, confused. "Why are you here?" Technoblade asked.

"Well I was just delivering a few potions and I seem to have stumbled in here by accident." You lifted the now gem filled basket awkwardly.

"I see, you should really get back on cou-"

Tom pushed Technoblade to the side so he could talk to you. "Yeah yeah enough about work I want to talk about something interesting and I want you to join us."

Your eyes widened. "Me? Really?"

He nodded energetically, he was practically jumping.

"Tommy, i'm sure Lady Y/n is very busy with work an-"

Tom cut him off again.

"No, look the baskets empty meaning Y/n is not busy at all!" He took the hand you were using to hold it and held it up, shaking it vigorously to show his brother it wasn't full.

Technoblade sighed as he rubbed his temple. "I'm sorry for my brothers manners Lady Y/n."

You chuckled softly. "Oh it's no problem really. Actually he's quite right, i'm not busy at all I just finished my deliveries."

Tom's face lit up. "So you can stay!"

"Only if Prince Technoblade is comfortable with it, then yes."

You both looked over at Technoblade waiting for a response.

"Yes, it's fine if you stay."

A big smile appeared on you and Tom's face. He grabbed your hand and dragged you over to the table they were sitting at earlier.

"Tommy be careful." Technoblade said, following behind you and Tom.

Tom dismissed what he said and pulled out a chair for you to sit on as well as one for himself. "So the reason I want you here is so you can help settle a little argument that Techno and I are having."

Technoblade groaned as he sat down across from the two of you. "Seriously, your bringing Y/n into this?"

His eyebrows furrowed. "Yes I am! It's the only way to settle this fair and square." He looked back at you. "Anyways like I was saying, I would like you to help decide which is better."

You opened your mouth to say something but ended up just nodding instead.

"So, which is better. Having all the power in the world but everyone despised you or being an average person and have absolutely everyone like you."
