You were practically bursting with excitement as you waited in front of the village. You wondered why he told you he wanted to meet up with you here. You constantly looked at your pocket watch, every time it got closer to twelve your nerves grew. The village was no longer packed, though there were some people still out and about. You couldn't bear to look at the watch anymore, it only made you more nervous.

So instead you stared up at the night sky, it was quite beautiful. Without you realizing the clock struck twelve causing you to jump slightly. You felt your heart pounding. You noticed all the villagers were now looking behind you and whispering softly.

You slowly turned around, you could see Wilbur strolling towards you. You stooped down to bow as he stood in front of you. Once you straightened back up you could see the cute smile on his face.

"Wow right on time."

He let out a small chuckle. "Well I wouldn't want to be a minute late."

You clasped your hands behind your back. "So why'd you want to meet me here?"

"I actually wanted to show you something."

You quirked an eyebrow at him. "Oh?"

"Yep it's pretty amazing. But first I wanted to talk to you."

"About?" You asked.

"Well I wanted to say thank you, you know for dragging my brother back to dinner."

You felt your heart ache a little, you had completely forgotten about the dinner. The same dinner that made you feel sick every time you thought about it.

You tried not to let your sadness show by smiling softly. "It was no problem really."

"I'm glad, I know that Tommy can be a bit of a pain sometimes, well, most of the time."

You couldn't help but laugh at what he said.

"And uh the second thing I wanted to tell you was..." He took a deep breath in and out as he ran a hand through his hair. "The dinner thing with Lady Eonia didn't exactly go well. Ester said that you might want to know."

Of course Ester did that, but i'm glad she did. Now you can feel at ease.

"Oh, what happened?"

He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "She well uh, tried to kiss me after dinner. Obviously I didn't let her and she got all mad and left."

You put a hand over your mouth to stifle your laugh.

His eyebrows rose up in amusement. "Are you seriously laughing." He let a few giggles out.

"I'm sorry i'm sorry." You managed to get out in between laughs.

You held your stomach as you continued laughing with Wilbur. You were laughing to the point where your body ached. Once you both caught your breath you looked at each other, both of your faces were red.

"I'm sorry Will I probably shouldn't have laughed."

"No no it's fine, I found it funny too." He stepped a few steps back, not breaking eye contact with you. "Now that I said what I wanted to say." He held his hand out while bowing slightly. "Come with me."
