You and Bad walked to the table, he pulled up a chair for you to sit on. You lifted up your shirt halfway so he could check your plasters.
"Hm let's see..." He carefully peeled away the tape that was holding it. "Oh! It looks much better."
You let out a sigh of relief.
"But of course it's still pretty fresh since it was just a couple of days ago when you got it."
You nodded as he took the whole thing off. He reached over to his bag and pulled out a clean and much smaller bandage for your side. He applied some ointment onto the wound, afterwards he stuck the bandage on. You put your shirt back down.
"Thanks Bad."
He smiled. "No problem Y/n."
He uncrouched and went over to where Karl was, he had already returned.
"Hey not to shabby back there considering you've left it be."
You chuckled. "Thanks Hannah."
She patted your shoulder. "Oh that reminds me." She pulled out one of the many roses she had braided into her hair, tucking it behind your ear like last time.
"Aw, I love it when you do this."
"Well i'll do it more often then." She squeezed your shoulder before turning around. "Oh and by the way, roses suit you." She smiled at you then walked away.
After that the day went by quick. Karl made lunch/dinner, Bad kept an eye on Dream to make sure he didn't do anything mischievous, and you all ended up talking and enjoying yourselves. Karl also happened to make tea for tea time, except instead of just the two of you it was all of us. Even though you couldn't do much due to the fact if you did you would feel immense pain, you loved watching everyone have fun together. Plus they always made sure to include you so you didn't feel left out.
Eventually though, it was getting late and you didn't want everyone to go home when all the mobs were out and about. So, you and Ester kicked everyone out only because you cared for them.
"Alright bye everyone." You said, waving at them.
They all said bye as they started to head out.
"You too Ester." You started pushing her out of the doorway.
"What! Even though I helped kick 'em all out."
You laughed. "I asked you to help kick them out cause I care for them, and if you haven't noticed I care for you too so out you go missy."
She rolled her eyes. "Fine, only because you said you cared for me." She stuck out her tongue at you as she caught up with the others.
You sighed, making your way to the bedroom. You flopped face down onto the bed knowing you would probably pull an all nighter once again. You let out a loud 'ugh' into your pillow. You were sick of being sleep deprived. This time you were determined to fall asleep.
You turned, now laying flat on your back. You were gripping onto your pillow. You closed your eyes and let your head fall to the side. Your eyebrows furrowed, your eyes fluttering open to adjust to the dark. Your vision focused on something on the floor - an article of clothing to be exact. You looked around before getting up, tossing the pillow to the side. You grabbed Wilburs coat that you threw the night before.
You sat back down on the mattress before settling into the blankets. You had the coat close to your chest, burrowing your face into it. For some reason the smell of him seemed to calm you down, the thought of Wilbur being there with you made you feel safe. You felt your eyes close and your body relax. You embraced the drowsiness you had been feeling and used it to fall asleep.
I guess all you needed was Wilbur. Even if it wasn't really him.
