Chapter 5

Trying out something new for this chapter! I'll be adding some message screenshots so you guys can see easier what the characters are texting to each other.

Aether tries his best to put Albedo at the back of his mind the next day. He receives a few more messages from the alpha asking him what's wrong and if he still needs help on the project. It's too bad he doesn't reply to any of them, too bad for Albedo that is. Because right now Aether can care less.

He sees his phone light up from the new group chat he got added to. Aether snatches the phone up and grins down at his phone from the messages. They were currently trying to figure out a good time for their double date to take place. He replies in between getting ready for school, smiling down at the hearts Hu Tao sent.

He sends a final message before heading downstairs to see an empty house again. The omega sighs and knows what to do already, taking the spare key to lock the house up. He knows Lumine is probably doing her best to avoid him and he thinks maybe the girl is being childish with all of this. They need to put their anger towards each other behind, and try to figure out how they can continue being how they used to.

Aether is so caught up in his own thoughts he doesn't even realize he has gone on the wrong bus, he stares down at his phone; trying to figure out if he should message his sister or not. He doesn't even get a chance to figure out before he feels a body press up against him.

"H-Hey!" He stutters out as this person gets close to his neck, he tries his best to push them away but this person doesn't know what personal space is apparently because they're very persistent. Aether wants to shove them off but they're pretty strong.

Finally the guy, who is an alpha around his age, stops and looks at Aether, "Omega." He says, continuing to sniff the air around the blonde.

Aether is frozen.

Oh shoot.

He forgot to put on his beta perfume.

The alpha in front of him has gray-ish silver-ish hair, with scarlet red eyes—and what looks to be like natural baggy eyes. He has a scar across his right cheek, a couple of others on his arms as well; making Aether wonder what the hell this alpha went through to have so many.

"U-Um sorry but I don't know you." Aether shoves at him again until the alpha finally backs up a little, looking a bit sheepish for his actions. At least he looks like he feels sorry for doing what he did.

"Razor. Sorry. Have not seen pretty omega before." He backs up to give the omega some space but he doesn't tear his eyes away from Aether.

"It's okay." Aether chuckles but still feels a bit unsafe since he was just smelled up by a stranger in the middle of a bus, but no one in here seems to care. Well it's only them and like two other people so it's not like there's a lot in the first place.
