Alternative ending to last chapter is Aether getting taken to the hospital bc he got destroyed by Kazuha's big fat dick. But he takes it well so he's fine in this timeline ^_^

Aether's surprised that Lumine doesn't mention anything about how he might've smelled the day he came back from being locked together with Kazuha at school. She always had a way to find out who he was with and sometimes it was scary.

Yet she doesn't mention anything about it even days later. He still wonders about it now as he awakens one morning to find her talking to their mom about bringing a friend over more often. He suspects that friend to be "Ajax", the alpha who looked to be close friends with Scaramouche.

"Of course he can come over. I'd love to meet him as well." She beams down at her daughter, but drops her smile a minute later. "But no funny business."

"Mom please I'm not—" a slut.

She doesn't say it though because as soon as her words leave her mouth he enters the kitchen properly and she cuts her words off.

Shut up. Maybe she meant to say something else, stop jumping to conclusions. He tells himself and mumbles a good morning to the both of them.

Lumine clears her throat, "I'm not gonna do anything like that don't worry mom. Plus, Ajax is not like that either. I don't think he's ever even touched me." She frowns as she says that.

"Oh Aether!" Their mom turns to him and because of that she doesn't manage to catch Lumine's last sentence. "You can bring a friend over as well whenever you want! I'd love to meet your.. friends as well."

The way she says friends irks him a bit but he doesn't question it.

"Okay mom." Is all he says and he hopes she doesn't push the conversation, and thankfully both of the women in the room turn to continue talking without him about something else.

He's stuffing his mouth with cereal and scrolling through his Instagram when a notification pops up showing a message from Venti.

Aether tries to force away the smile that's starting to form—because what kind of text message was that! It's not all that surprising because it's Venti, but still it makes him think he probably shouldn't be smiling like a creep!

Before he could stop himself from sending the message, his thumb presses send and in a mili-second he sees the tiny letter of read right next to his message telling him that Venti was waiting for his reply—and not even another second passes that he gets the first reply from the beta.
