"You cannot drive. I feel terrible and yet I didn't have as much to drink last night as you did," I told Dallas on the phone.
"You must be so hungover."
"I'm fine but I have a headache and don't remember hardly anything," Dallas admitted. "Sam has a shift at eleven and wants to join us for breakfast before he starts. He can be our ride there and then we'll find our way back.""So do I finally get to meet your brother?" I asked whilst Brushing my tangled hair.
"Don't get too excited," I could practically hear him grin down the phone. "Sam's not nearly as hot as me nor as funny. So just try to be nice." He teased.
"If he's uglier than you, then he's got no hope," I laughed.
"Ha, ha, ha," he said sarcastically. "I'm going to have a shower but be ready by normal time."
"Okay, see you then." I ended the call and continued to get ready.
It was almost ten. I was waiting in my bedroom for Dallas and Sam to turn up.
A car pulled up in front of my drive. I recognised the car as the one Peter dropped me and Dallas home in last night. But why was Peter here? Maybe Dallas or I left something in his car? Maybe he forgot we agreed on dinner, not breakfast.
I slipped my feet into a pair of black flats and grabbed my purse and phone. I would go say hi to Peter and then by the time we would have finished talking, Dallas and Sam would arrive.
I walked outside shutting the door behind me and headed over towards Peters parked car. Something stopped me in my tracks.
Dallas got out of the passenger seat of the car with a grin on his face.
He looked much better then he had done last night. He looked almost the same as he always does. Clean, neat and presentable. I don't know how he managed to do it.
I woke up this morning with bags under my eyes. I was tired and definitely looked it."Wow, you look like hell," Dallas grinned.
"That's what I like about you Dallas. You're always just so subtle."
"Well I guess it's true. They say people don't meet each other by accident. We were meant to cross paths for a reason." he grinned.
"Our reason for crossing paths is so that you can tell me I look like hell today?" I laughed.
"And every day afterwards." He grinned.
"I thought when you were saying that we crossed paths for a reason, that reason was going to be because now we've met we can't be separated." I laughed.
It was true. Me and Dallas were practically inseparable most of the time.
"You don't need me to say out loud that were best friends. You should already know we are." He grinned "Come on, let's go. I'm hungry."
"You're always hungry," I said laughing.
"Right now I'm starving."
"I'm surprised you remember Peter," I said laughing. "You were so drunk and you said you couldn't hardly remember last night?"
Dallas looked confused. "Who's Peter?"
"The guy who's car you just got out of!" I laughed. "I thought Sam was our ride?"
"Sam is dropping us." He told me. "And that is Sam's car. With Sam behind the wheel." He confirmed looking confused.
"That... That can't be Sam," I stumbled for my words. "Are you sure?"
"Juliet, I know who my own brother is," Dallas said.
"But he was at the party last night dressed as Peter Parker," I protested.
