"That's a wrap guys! Thank you all for coming and enjoy your evening," Mrs Carson called through the auditorium.

We had just finished yet, another one of our rehearsals for the production of Peter Pan. We had only just over a month before opening nights which meant we were rehearsing constantly.

"See you tomorrow Mrs Carson," Dallas said collecting our bags.

"Goodbye Peter and Wendy," she called back.

We headed out to where Dallas's car was parked and got in.

"Okay so do I wear my normal clothes or something else?" I asked.

"Normal clothes?"

"Yeah you know, jeans and a t-shirt type of thing or a dress?" I asked clarifying it.

"Just come as yourself it doesn't matter what you wear," Dallas smiled.

"It does too!" I said defensively. "This is the first time our parents are actually going to meet each other and it's a formal sit down meal and I need to look respectable so that I don't look like the girl who didn't bother," I explained.

Looking at me for a few seconds Dallas started laughing at me.

"What?" I asked smiling myself.

"Your panicking over your clothes," Dallas chuckled. "Juliet my parents love you! Your the daughter they never had and you always will be even if something happened between you and Sam. It's always going to be that way," he said. "You're apart of the family now."

"So I can eat the marshmallows you hide at the back of the cupboard?"

"No one touches the marshmallows. Only me, the keeper of marshmallows," he grinned.

"Mr and Mrs Parker are great people. Mrs Parker is a house wife and loves watching 'The Great British Bake Off'. Mr Parker is a lawyer but not like your stereotypical one and well you know Dallas and of course Sam and-".

"Juliet stop and breathe," Rebecca said smiling. "Relax. It will be fine and I'm sure I'll love them."

Just then the doorbell rang and Alex stepped through the door.

"Caroline's in the car, are we ready to go?" He asked.

"Yes."

The night went really well and I felt silly for being nervous beforehand. Having Rebecca start to act like a real mum was strange but she was doing well. I hadn't expected her to even last a day but she proved me wrong but someplace deep inside I was scared that she would mess up and things would go back to the horrible way they were.

I decided to go with wearing a dress in the end. It was nothing fancy just a black dress with a Peter Pan collar. Rebecca wore a respectable lilac colour dress but not without me telling her to change her 'little too revealing' dresses three times. Caroline wore a green dress that really brought out both her eyes and her flame like hair. Mrs Parker wore one of her stunning floral dresses and the boys all wore dark jeans and a shirt.

Sam in particular looked rather good. He sat next to me during dinner and we held each others hands under the table.

It wasn't long though before Caroline got a little clumsy. When she went to reach for the pepper she accidentally knocked over her drink with her elbow causing it to go down the front of her dress.

"Oh dear," Mrs Parker sighed. "That was such a pretty dress. Here come to the bathroom and give me your dress. I'll soak it in some of my magic powder and the stain will come out." She got up gracefully from the table motioning for Caroline to follow in suit.

They headed out of the dining room but it wasn't long before Mrs Parker came back in holding Caroline's stained dress in her hand.

"Dallas," she said. "Go and find something from your wardrobe that Caroline can wear for the time being," Mrs Parker ordered before heading to the laundry room off the side of the kitchen.

"I'll be back soon," Dallas said getting up from the table.

The only thing Dallas could find that was too small for him but still too big for Caroline's slim figure were a pair of old tracksuit bottoms and a Bart Simpson top.

"Happy Valentine's Day everyone! We've got some special deliveries for Maddison, Juliet, Josh, Dallas and Hannah."
A girl came around and handed me two flowers and then handed Dallas three.

"Who did you get yours from?" Dallas asked. It was Valentine's Day and just how Brampton High went crazy over Halloween they went just as crazy over this special day. I was sitting next to Dallas in maths when some of the student council came in to give everyone roses which other people had bought for them. You can buy roses for people and write little messages on them and send them to one of the person's class during the day.

"I got one from Lewis and one from Brad, you?" I asked reading my short sweet messages my friends had written.

"One from this girl called Laura who's in my Spanish class. She's been flirting with me for months now. One from you and one from Veronica," he grinned.

"You got one from Veronica?" I laughed. "Wow she doesn't waste time does she?"

Veronica and Leon hadn't lasted and they had broke up about two weeks ago. And although they broke up they were still running for Prom King and Queen together which was approaching us rather soon.

"What did she say?" I asked eager to find out more.

Dallas burst out laughing showing me the hand written note stapled to the flowers plastic wrap. "Non other than the fact that she wants to climb me like a tree."

"How many poor guys hearts did you break today then?" Sam asked during the movie we were watching. We were at my house on the sofa watching a cheesy, predictable yet addictive romantic movie.

"A couple," I joked. I got lots of roses throughout the day with the total being twelve. Brad, Lewis, Mason and Nick each bought me one. Two were from Leon but I didn't bother with the cheesy messages he wrote and one from Jeremy who's in my maths class.

The remaining five were all from Dallas which was delivered in a way that made me get one rose per class I went to which was really sweet of him. On every card he wrote the same thing, 'To My Milk Burping Girl ~ From Your Sexy Marshmallow Man'. Dallas had not forgotten about my secret talent I had shown him the first day I'd met him and wasn't going to forget anytime soon either.

"I love these movies but they're just so predictable," I said.
"They always end up together in the end even despite the complications," I commented. "They should have it that the guy falls in love with another girl or she realises that he's just not who she thought he was. Just something different."

"Your a dream crusher aren't you?" he smiled as I lay down so that my head was against his chest. I could hear his heartbeat and feel his warm breath on the top of my head.

"Sam?" I asked half mumbling as I closed my eyes.

"Yes?" He whispered.

"Don't ever leave me," I said.

"I wasn't planing too." He kissed the top of my head. "Let's go Juliet."

"Go where?" I asked quietly as I yawned. "It's late now."

"Let's go somewhere. Anywhere. Just the two of us. Just the two of us together," Sam said.

"And what would we do?" I asked.

"Anything we wanted to. We could have great jobs, have a big house. We could get married and start a family."

"And have two Sam Juniors running around?" I smiled.

"I was going for four," I could feel his grin.

"Could we travel the World? I could own a bakery and sell the worlds greatest pies and I'd even sell the best doughnuts just for you," I said. Just how I loved my pies, Sam had a passion for doughnuts especially iced ones. "That would be rather nice," I said before drifting off into a sleep.

"I love you Juliet."
