We need to talk

It was Friday, which meant that there was a week left until Prom and I was devastated. Prom was the night that every girl dreamed about. Prom was the night where you wear the most perfect dress and have the most perfect date. Prom was the night that you're going to remember forever and unfortunately for me, I'm still not going and not by choice.

Mr Meyers didn't change his mind when he cancelled Prom for myself and Leon.

I'd offered to do community service and do detention every lunch for the rest of my life. I had even volunteered to scrape the gum off of every single desk in his class. It had come to a point where I had literally got down on my knees and beg that he let me go.

No matter what I said the answer was still no.

Mr Meyers may only be a geography teacher at our school but he was a well respected one.
He bought the situations attention to the head teacher of our school and they agreed with what Mr Meyers had said.

I wouldn't say that I'm exactly a violent person but since that day, every time I see Leon, I want to punch him in his face and then I want to kick him in his no go zone. You can't blame me for wanting those things considering it is all his fault that we're even in this mess to begin with. But there's nothing I can do about it.

"Hi, um Mason," a girl approached our table at lunch.

"Hey Emma," Mason said turning around to face the girl.

I had seen Emma in the hallways between classes but had never spoken to her. She had light brown hair with natural blonde highlights and had brown eyes. She seemed to be a nice girl.

"I was, um.. I was," she stuttered.

"Emma would you do me the pleasure of being my date to Prom?" Mason asked standing up.

"Absolutely! Yes!" she squealed as her face went a shade of pink. "I've got to go but I'll see you in class," she said giving him a kiss on the cheek before hurting off.

Mason sat back down besides me and I wiggled my eyebrows.

"What?" He asked smiling.

"You and Emma, huh?"

"Yeah," he said. "She takes art and we're in the same class. She is amazing. Her artwork is just breathtakingly beautiful and she is a nice girl too."

"Welcome to the I-Have-A-Date-To-Prom club," Nik smirked.

Nick was going with a girl named Amanda to Prom. Lewis was going with Hollie who was in my Drama class. Brad was going with Caitlin, a girl in the running for Prom Queen and now Mason was going with Emma. This just left Dallas.

"You still need to ask someone," I said to Dallas.

"I told you, I've already got my date," he said grinning.

I rolled my eyes. "And I've already told you that I can't be your date. I want to but I can't even go, remember?"

"You're going," he stated with determination on his face. "I don't care what any of the teachers say, you are going to Prom and you're going to be my date."

As I emerged from the bathroom I heard a noise of soft sobbing. I gripped the towel I had wrapped around my wet naked body and walked quickly into Sam's bedroom.

I had stayed over last night after school since it was a Friday. We ordered pizza and ate pie for dessert. We watched a few movies and played some video games.

Things with Sam are really good. Whenever I'm with him I feel complete. his kisses are so intense and passionate. Things are starting to heat up between the two of us and I know that I'm ready.
