Ignoring Mr Meyers protest I ran down the hallway. Away from the complaints away from the unimportant things. Each step I took felt heavier and harder then one I took before thanks to my shoes but with the adrenaline that was pumping all around my body, I managed to make it to the hall.
As I stepped inside the large room I immediately began searching for Dallas. Mrs Carson had hardly told me anything more about Dallas but that's due to the fact I hadn't stood still long enough to hear it. I was worried. What had happened to Dallas? Was he injured?
"Juliet!" Mrs Carson called clutching my arm from behind. I turned around to find her bent forward with her hands on her knees panting.
"Where's Dallas? What happened to him?" I asked feeling my heart rate rise.
"He's-".
"Hello ladies," Dallas said approaching us. "Don't you both look rather ravishing tonight." He grinned.
"Dallas, are you alright?" I asked grabbing his face in my hands.
"He's fine, dear," Mrs Carson said. "It was all an act to get you past Mr Meyers."
"The whole thing was fake?" I breathed a sigh of relief.
"Of course dear, how else would you have gotten into prom?" She smiled. "Now Mr Meyers hopefully won't be bothering you two now but I'll be on the lookout just in case."
"You really are a great actor. Thank you for everything," I said.
"My pleasure, now off you go. Have fun!" She shuffled off somewhere amongst the crowd.
Dallas guided me onto the dance floor and pulled me close to him where we danced to the song that was playing. It was a slow song so my hand was in his and my other was on his shoulder and his on my waist. I was too short to put my head on his shoulder so instead I rested my head against his chest. I could hear his heartbeat. It was calm and steady paced.
"How'd you like my plan?" He said. I lifted my head to see him grinning down at me like the Cheshire Cat.
"That was your plan?" I smiled.
"A genius plan like that had to have been made by someone as awesome as me."
"Did you know that Veronica had found out about Leon's plan to sneak us in?" I asked.
"No but I'd come up with this plan this morning that in case, despite having Leon's plan, if anyone stopped you from getting into prom; I could get you in. During the begging of lunch today I had asked Mrs Carson if she'd help me if you couldn't and she agreed. After all we all we are her Peter and Wendy. Luckily enough it worked. Here you are," he smiled.
"I was so worried. I thought that something had actually happened to you." I said seriously.
"I'm just glad that I got you in. After all it's prom and I couldn't let you miss it." He grinned. "I had a back up plan though. Well I guess it would be a back up back up plan. Anyways if the plan with Mrs Carson hadn't worked I was ready to go all WWE style on Mr Meyers ass."
"I guess you were telling me the truth the first time I met you."
"What truth was that?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"That you were going to be my Romeo."

We were all silent but buzzing inside. The whole room was facing the stage waiting. Waiting for the Prom King and Queen to be announced. Waiting for this was like waiting for '-A' to be revealed on Pretty Little Liars, it dragged on.
