There was a piercing sound of pure silence. A burnt chemical smell invaded my nostrils. My vision was blurred as tears soaked my cheeks ever so numbly.
A man whom I had not seen before fumbled as he unclasped my seat belt helping me out of the car. I stumbled violently shaking as the man held me up stopping me from falling to the ground. My legs felt weak and my head pounded. My arms had bruises and looking down I saw blood that I had no idea where it had came from. My body felt as if it didn't belong to me.
"Come on sit down over here," the man said supporting my weight as he led me to the curb of the road. "The emergency services will be here soon."
But I didn't get the chance to respond because the next thing I knew my vision dimmed going darker by the second until the darkness consumed me completely.

"Do you she'll remember what happened?" I heard Dallas's voice ask.
"Well the doctors did say that she'll come around in no longer than two hours," Sam said. "So you can ask her then."
"You can ask her now actually. It looks as if she's coming around now," Matt whom I hadn't heard continued to stroke my forehead.
I slowly began to open my heavy eyes and when I did I was met with three awfully familiar faces. Each of them peering down at me with a relieved expression.
"Juliet," Sam said my name as he rushed quickly to my side. "I was so worried."
"I can tell," I croaked as I lifted my weak hand up to smooth the lines creased his forehead the way they always did when something happened to make him worry.
"Do you remember what happened?" Matt asked hesitantly making me pull my hand back and close my eyes.
"We were in a car and the next thing I know there's another car coming straight towards us and-".
"Don't worry to much about what happened," a new voice said entering the room. I opened my eyes back up to see a young male nurse coming towards me with a smile on his face. "It looks as though you're making a rather great recovery Miss Manners. We weren't expecting you to wake up so soon. Are you hungry? Dinner just finished but I got the cooks to keep something aside for you in the kitchen."
"No, thank you," every word burned my throat. "Although some water would be good."
As soon as I said that the three boys rushed across the room to get me a glass of water.
"Well," laughed the doctor. "It looks as though you're in very good hands here and I will be back later to see how you're going." He smiled and excited the room without another word.
"Where's Rebecca?"
They each turned to one another not saying a word.
"Well?"

Hey guys!
I apologise immensely for my lack of updates!
I have family over which is a pretty big deal for me since having moved from London to Sydney two years ago leaves me with little chances I can see family.
Anyways I shall try to update as soon as I can and again I'm sorry for being inactive.
