"PAIGEY POOH"peyton ran into paige's dorm with her bags all over her. "PEYTON!"paige exclaimed running towards her cousin. they met each other half way and hugged. peyton laughed once they flopped to the ground due to peyton's bags being so heavy. peyton smiled getting up so paige could get up. once they both got up they both smiled at each other hugging again, this time not falling to the ground.
paige and peyton were cousins on paige's mom side. they had been attached to the hip since peyton was born, they went to the same elementary school, middle school and high school. they planned on going to the same college as well but that changed. peyton and paige played basketball together, paige played a little longer than peyton. no one could deny that paige was the better player, peyton was a good player as well but it wasn't scholarship worthy.
so you can see where this is going when paige got a full ride scholarship to uconn and peyton didn't. but peyton didn't want to be far from her cousin so she applied to uconn and three other schools as a backup. peyton received the news on a peaceful sunday morning, that is until she read the letter. the peaceful sunday morning turned into a sad sudnay evening. peyton had been put on the waiting list, she didn't know how long it would take for her to finally get accepted.
freshmen year, she spent it at maryland university. sophomore year, she spent it at maryland university. junior year, she spent it a maryland. senior year, here she is, at university of connecticut. she's been majoring in digital marketing and didn't plan on stopping now.
once paige and peyton pulled away paige immediately got to talking peyton's ears off. "how was maryland?"paige asked as they walked over to her couch and sat down. "it was really good, but now that i'm here my senior year should be 10x better!"peyton smiled nudging her cousin with her shoulder. paige smiled and nudged peyton back making both of them laugh.
"i want you to meet my friends!"paige suddenly jumped up. "you have friends?"peyton furrowed her eyebrows making paige frown. "you're not funny." paige grumbled hitting peyton in the back of her head. "are you wearing that?"paige said looking peyton up and down. peyton looked down at her outfit before looking back up at her cousin. "what's wrong with what i have on?"peyton furrowed her eyebrows again.
"you're wearing shorts and a sweatshirt. you look homeless."paige blatantly said. peyton rolled her eyes getting up and walking out the door. "you don't have they keys!"paige ran out after her cousin with the keys in her hand.

once they got to the ice cream parlor peyton instantly regretted not wearing pants. they walked in and paige spotted all of her friends sitting in one corner. paige cheesed hard before grabbing her cousins hand and dragging her over to her friend group. "guys this is my cousin peyton!"paige exclaimed sitting in a empty chair pulling her cousin into one next to her. peyton looked around the table carefully taking in everyone's reaction.
she seen a couple of smiles making her smile. "this is kk, nika, ines, aubrey, and you already know azzi!"paige spoke knocking peyton out of her thoughts. peyton shyly waved at everyone smiling. "she is not this shy guys."paige rolled her eyes hitting her cousins shoulder. peyton rolled her eyes too hitting paige back. they spent the rest of the night talking and getting to know each other.
