"you gonna talk?"nika asked glaring at paige. paige huffed before speaking. "i'm really sorry you guys, i didn't look at this whole situation from y'all's point of view. but i also want yall to realize where im coming from."paige started. "i've only hung out with peyton alone once since she's been here and it was only for like two hours."paige finished off her portion towards nika. she then looked over to peyton and began talking again. "we used to be inseparable p, we haven't seen each other in 3 years. i'm not used to being away from you for this long."paige started.
"i'm sorry if i came across as clingy or selfish but i just wanted to spend sometime with you, and i was jealous. jealous because you got along with nika so quick and jealous because i felt as if you replaced me with her."paige finished. peyton frowned now looking at it from her cousins point of view. "im sorry p, i had no idea you felt this way. i think this whole thing blew out of proportion because of miscommunication."peyton said slightly smiling at paige to which paige smiled back.
they both looked at nika who was already staring at them with a big smile on her face. she got up walking towards paige and hugging her. then she walked over to peyton hugging her as well and kissing her cheek. "i'll let you two hang out"was all nika said before walking out but not before handing peyton her car keys back. peyton and paige looked at each other and smiled again. "you're really lucky p, nika is such a sweet soul"paige said making peyton blush.
"i know"peyton mumbled looking down. "when do you plan on asking her to be your girlfriend?"paige asked making peyton sigh. paige furrowed her eyebrows. "what's wrong?"paige asked. "she's never had a girlfriend or even look in the direction of another girl that way before. paige i'm scared she's using me as an experiment"peyton said looking in paige's eyes. paige frowned grabbing her cousins hand.
"nika has never been in a relationship in general silly. she only cares about basketball and trying to make it to the WNBA. she hasn't looked at boys nor girls that way, and between you and me she's still a virgin. sure she's kissed one guy but she was drunk. not trying to sound dramatic but nika's pure. she's innocent."paige laughed when peyton's eyes widen. "no way, the way she-" "i don't wanna hear about yalls sex lives"paige gagged cutting her cousin off.
"be patient with her."paige finished off. "has she told you her dream date yet?"paige asked chuckling. peyton furrowed her eyebrows before shaking her head no. "she wants to go to one of those indoor bounce houses. she's literally a child"peyton laughed at paige's response. "i knew she was childish but good lord"peyton chuckled. "you have a good one peyton"paige said again making peyton blush again. "i know"peyton mumbled again looking down.
