peyton huffed throwing her hands on top of her head before slightly leaning over. today was soccer tryouts and as you can see peyton hadn't ran since she left maryland, so that was about a month. "GET UP GIRLS! LEANING OVER ISNT GOING TO HELP YOU CATCH YOUR BREATH!"coach mota was more sweeter outside of soccer. it's like when she was coaching she became a whole different person. peyton got up grabbing the end of her shirt and wiping the sweat off her forehead.
she huffed again as the coach called out another drill. peyton got in line being the 6th person to go. once she got to the front of the line and stood behind the cones waiting for her coach to blow the whistle. once she blew the whistle peyton immediately started shuffling through the cones. once she got to the last cone she looked down and took off running to the finish line. she stopped once she made it to the finish line and bent over putting her hands on her knees. one of the other girls that tried out came by patting her back.
peyton took this as a hint and stood back up. soon tryouts ended and the coach was giving them a talk. "i'll email you guys the list of who made it. if your name is in green you've made the official roster, if it's in yellow you're a sub."coach mota spoke before dismissing everyone. peyton walked away to her bag packing her things up and slipped on her nike slides. she grabbed her bag and walked to her car, opening the back seat and throwing her bag back there before walking to the drivers seat and buckling up.
peyton pulled up to her apartment getting out and walking to the back grabbing her bag. she grabbed her keys locking the door and began walking upstairs to her apartment. once she got there she noticed the door already unlocked. she furrowed her eyebrows before opening the door. "surprise!"a bunch of voices yelled out making peyton jump and drop her bag. she looked around seeing ines, kk, aubrey, ice, paige, azzi, and nika.
she smiled. "what're you guys doing?"peyton asked. "we wanted to surprise you for tryouts, we were supposed to come this morning but someone woke up late"paige said cutting her eyes at nika. nika rolled her eyes before walking up to peyton and hugging her. she immediately pulled away, her face balling up in disgust. "you're wet!"nika shouted wiping her body. peyton laughed before going back in with her arms opened. "no peyton! i will kill you!"nika shouted backing away from peyton.
peyton smiled hugging nika, picking her up in the process. nika screamed trying to push her off while everyone else was laughing. peyton put nika down watching her frown. "you sweat all the time"peyton laughed walking away. "YOU'RE NASTY!"nika called out before peyton walked into her room.
