"can we talk?"peyton asked nika. the group was currently all chilling in paige's room, and of course peyton brought hailey along. "sure"nika huffed before getting up out of her spot on the couch, this made both paige and hailey turn their heads. nika turned to paige giving her a quick smile before following peyton. they walked into an empty bedroom before peyton closed the door and sat on the bed next to nika.
"me and hailey kissed."peyton said right off the bat. "i know p"nika softly said looking at peyton. "you aren't mad?"peyton asked looking at nika with furrowed eyebrows. "no i'm fucking livid, but i can't control what you do. at the end of the day we owe each other some type of loyalty and obviously you didn't think that."nika said looking down at her hands.
"if you want to try things out with hailey by all means go ahead, i will never be a second choice peyton. because like i said, if there's a point in time where you have to choose between me and another girl choose the other girl because if our connection was strong enough you wouldn't be thinking about another girl breaking us up. i know my worth and i won't sit here and let you do me that way."nika shrugged looking back up at peyton but with tears in her eyes this time.
"i really like you nika, and i really wanna make you mine, but with both of our schedules we never have time for each other."peyton frowned. "don't give me that bullshit peyton, we've always found time for each other, don't use this as an excuse to break things off with me."nika chuckled shaking her head.
"i'm trying to be mature about this but you're making it hard nika"peyton huffed looking down. "mature about breaking things off with me for someone you met a week ago?! yea okay."nika semi-shouted before getting up and walking out of the room. once she got to the living room she grabbed her phone and wallet off the couch and began walking towards the door until paige stopped her.
"what's wrong nika?"paige asked gabbing her arm. "your cousin's a asshole paige. she's so selfish and inconsiderate, i've never wanted to strangle someone so bad"nika laughed at the last party shaking her head. paige began laughing when nika laughed. "i'm sorry, where are you going?"paige asked finally letting go of nika's arm. "home, i can't be in the same room as them"nika said.
"i understand, let me come with you, yea?"paige asked. "of course"nika smiled nodding her head. paige went to the couch before grabbing her phone. "i'm gonna walk nika to her dorm ill be back in a hour!"paige said to azzi before kissing her cheek. azzi nodded before continuing her homework.
