"NIKA"paige yelled running into nika's room. nika instantly shot up from her position on the bed and looked at paige with wide eyes. "what's wrong p?"nika questioned patting the spot next to her. paige took this as a sign and closed nika's room door and sat next to her. "peyton's live!"paige shouted. "what's wrong with that?"nika asked knowing everything wrong with peyton being live.
peyton liked a private life, hence as to why she only had one post up on instagram, she only ever posted stories and she recently just unprivated her account for soccer purposes. "you know what's wrong nika! peyton never goes live!"paige rambled on. "join"is all nika said and paige did exactly that. when they joined the live they seen peyton and hailey, laying in peyton's bed. peyton was laying down and hailey was laying down as well but with her head on peyton's shoulder.
paige audibly gasped before looking at nika who was staring at the screen. "nika..."paige trailed off looking back at the screen. "paige joined!"hailey smiled and started pressing buttons on peyton's phone. "should i join?"paige asked looking over at nika who had tears in her eyes. nika nodded before getting up and heading to her restroom and slamming the door. paige sighed before joining seeing the big smile on her cousins face.
"hey p"peyton smiled harder waving at her cousin. "what're you doing on live?"paige asked and watched as the view count went up. "hailey wanted to go live"peyton said reading comments. "mhmm, and why couldn't she go live on her account?"paige questioned. "cause she didn't want to?"peyton furrowed her eyebrows at her cousins rudeness.
nika walked out of the bathroom wiping her hands on her sweatpants. paige looked up from the phone and at nika. "who are you looking at?"peyton asked squinting her eyes. "nika."paige blandly said before looking back at the phone. she watched as peyton's eyes go wide. "i have homework to do i'll join back later! bye!"peyton quickly ended the live.
all of a sudden nika's phone started ringing. both paige and nika looked at it before paige hurriedly grabbed it instantly declining it. "what was that for?"nika asked walking towards her bed and flopping down. "if she wanted to talk to you so bad she would've came over."paige shrugged before leaning back and laying next to nika. "talk to me nika"paige sighed staring up at the ceiling as nika did the same.
"i just want her to feel where im coming from. you know? i don't think she understands how badly my feelings are hurt p. if the roles were reversed she would've lost her shit by now"nika sighed throwing her arm over her face to prevent herself from crying. "i understand, peyton's too oblivious...there can be so many signs in her face and she won't even realize it"paige spoke grabbing nika's free hand and squeezing it.
"i just don't know what to do, should i talk to her?"nika asked looking over at paige. paige looked back at nika scanning over her face. "yea..."paige mumbled. for some odd reason nika's cheeks started heating up. "you're really pretty"paige smiled making nika smile. "thanks p"nika said squeezing paige's hand back. they both stared at each other for what seemed like forever, but they were interrupted by paige's phone ringing.
paige jumped up grabbing her phone and answering it without looking at the contact name. "hello?"peytons voice boomed from the other side of the phone. "what's up?"paige cleared her throat. "i made a huge mistake p"peyton sounded almost out of breath on the other side of the phone. paige furrowed her eyebrows before speaking again. "what'd you do?"paige asked now making nika sit up.
"me and hailey kissed. and before you say anything i pushed her away immediately after! i feel so bad paige, i don't know what to do!"peyton started rambling. the phone was on max volume so nika could hear everything peyton was saying. "peyton..."paige trailed off her eyes widening. "did you forget about nika peyton?!"paige semi-shouted looking over at nika who was now crying again.
"i was bu-" "but nothing p! don't you think you owe nika some type of loyalty?"paige cut peyton off. "yea bu-" "but nothing peyton, you need to find a way to talk to nika, and soon!"paige said before finally hanging up.
