Dream and George continued to share their deep feelings towards eachother and this flourished as the days went on. But just like the moon, the two of them had to go through phases in order to feel whole again.

"So when are we telling them", Dream turned suprised at this request.

The two of them had just finished breakfast. Sapnap had called and said he was coming back in a few days because his dad was feeling a lot better and he no longer needed the assistance.

"Tell who what?" Dream replied still not sure what George was talking about.

"Tell the world about us, obviously" George responded placing his hand upon Dreams thigh.

But his cheery grin soon turned to a concerned look as Dream went silent and looked away from him.

"Dream?" George questioned "Did you hear me?".

Dream heard George loud and clear but did not know what to say. He was so caught up in their little reality that he forgot about everything else. George had that ability, he helped dream to forget about all the things that hurt him. He was taken aback by the thought of having to break this to the whole world.

"Do we have to" Dream replied.

George took his hand from Dreams thigh and placed it into his own lap, he laughed clearly believing Dream was joking.

"You're joking right?".

Dream was not joking at all and very much so wanted to keep them a secret "No".

"All of this and you want to keep it hidden? All this time? You never thought to tell me that you wasn't fully into it?".

Dream could hear the rising frustration in George's voice now.

"what's wrong with me huh? Why don't you want everyone to know? What's so wrong with the real, honest love between us that it must be kept from the world".

"I-uh" Dream managed before George continued.

"No Dream, what are you so scared of, you hide your face, you hide our relationship. When are you going to realise that superficial things can't damage something as fundamental as this. When are you going to wake up and realise that this is real Dream. Why are you so scared? What are you running from!?" George shouted.

He was shaking in pure anger. Dream reached out but he pulled away. George collapsed onto the floor now in a flood of tears but winced every-time Dream went to hold him.

"I don't want to hide anymore Dream especially from the fact that I love you, I've hid long enough" George cried.

He was sobbing, his soft rosy cheeks wet from the tears. Dream hated to see George upset, particularly when it was because of him but he didn't know what to do, he was so lost. George got up and walked up the stairs and Dream heard the door slam, he was alone sitting staring at the wall regretting the things he had said. He thought it best to leave George for a while.
