Weeks passed, George and Sapnap went out to get some food and Dream was in the house alone. He was tired. Everyday was the same and he felt as though he wasn't getting anywhere.
He was sitting on the couch, Patches next to him snuggled up and snoring softly. He wanted to do something, anything to feel. So he got up and walked towards the kitchen side. He opened up the drawer grabbed a bottle opener and grabbed a beer. He had one, then another and another and another. He kept drinking and drinking hoping that he could fill the emptiness of the void inside of him with something, anything. He was drunk.
He stumbled his way up the stairs to the bathroom, falling into everything as he went. He looked at himself in the mirror, a single tear fell down the side of his face as he said to himself

it's time to go.

He felt as though he deserved the pain for hurting George and Nick. He had failed his community and his fans. He had nothing left. So he grabbed the pills out of the bathroom cupboard, he took one and then more and then more and then more and then more....

"Dream!, Dream, we're home" Sapnap and George shouted excitedly.

"We've got your favourite!".

The two of them placed the food on the table and set out all of the stuff in an attempt to try and cheer Dream up. But Dream didn't come down and he didn't call out either instead the house was deadly silent.

"Is he waiting to scare us?" George asked laughing.

"Probably" Sapnap replied.

George walked up the stairs, waiting for Dream to jump out and scare him but he didn't. He saw that the bathroom door was slightly open.

"Dream, I know you're in there it's not going to work".

George swung open the door and he didn't find Dream hiding instead his motionless body lying dead still on the ground. A shattered bottle next to him and a pill bottle half empty.

"DREAMMMM?!, DREAMMMM?! Wake up" George bent down and shook him.

"NICK, ITS DREAM COME HELP QUICKLY!".

Sapnap flew up the stairs and barged into the bathroom sitting beside George.

"DREAM? What? WHATS HAPPENED?,

George tilted his head towards the pill bottle on the floor, Sapnap looked wide-eyed he had started to panic now.

"Dream? Dream can you hear me?" He yelled, tilting his head upwards to listen for any signs of breathing but his chest was completely still.

"Dream?" George called quietly, his voice was breaking now and his eyes were welling up with tears.

"please don't leave me, Please don't fucking leave me, Sapnap do something!".

"I'm trying George, I'm trying".

Sapnap ran downstairs to his phone and dialled 911, he explained to the operator what had happened and they dispatched an ambulance. He ran back upstairs to find George lying on Dreams chest sobbing into his t-shirt.

"Please Clay, wake up, Please wake up. I need you" he sat up and placed his hand on Dreams cold cheek. "You're-You're" he gulped back the tears "You're my home" he managed. "I love you".

Sapnap sat down and took George into his chest, rubbing his shoulder and tenderly telling him it's okay and that the ambulance was coming.
They heard tyres screech outside and sirens blaring. In that moment, George believed he had lost the one thing he loved.
