Christie's P.O.V.
Its 5 months that I'm pregnant. My belly has started to show and I suffer from morning sickness everyday, not that I'm complaining. Its a good feeling to know that a life is growing inside you. You can talk to it and all it does is respond by kicking.
"Honey, what are you doing?" My husband called out.
"Nothing much. Why?"
"Uhm please don't be angry on me after this but I wanted to ask you something." He cupped my face.
"Yeah go on."
"Have we done the test to find out whether its our son or a daughter?"
He asked cheekily.
I understand even he has a lot of work load. He doesn't remember everything.
"What? Liam, you don't even remember this?" I gasped.
"No, no. I'm sorry. Shit!"
"Liam, you are disgusting. You suck." I crossed my arms over my chest.
"No babe. I'm so sorry but when did you do the test? And what are the reports? Everything is fine, right?" He was worried.
I pecked his lips and smiled at him.
"Don't worry babe, we haven't done the test yet. Jenny said we have to do when I complete 3 months."
"Oh! Thank god. Lets go now? What say?" He said.
"Yeah! Just call Jenny and let her know!"
He nodded and removed his phone.
"Hi kiddo!"
"Yeah yeah! Listen can you just come to the hospital now?"
"No, everything's fine. Just Christie had to do some tests."
"Cool, meet me there in 15."
"Yeah. Bye!"
Liam's always being very supportive from the start. Nowadays I hardly go to the kitchen, he doesn't let me. When he was on tour he used to call me 3 times a day and talk to me atleast for 5 minutes. But there's one problem, he drinks a lot. I hate that totally. I'm sick of his drinking moods.
"Ready?" He asked as he came out of the bathroom.
I nodded and we drove to the hospital. He helped me get out of the car and entwined our fingers.
"Oh hello sir!" The receptionist greeted him. "How are you ma'am?"
"I'm good! Is Jennifer here yet?" I said.
"Oh, no but she told that you may wait in her cabin. Nancy is waiting for you. She'll perform your tests while ma'am is not here."
"Okay. Thank you." Liam said.
We both headed to Jenny's cabin where a nurse was waiting for us.
"Good morning ma'am. Please come with me." Nancy said and as I was about to go, Liam held my wrist and I looked at him.
"Are you sure you'll be fine by yourself?" He asked, worry obvious in his eyes.
"Yes babe. I'll be good."
He left my wrist and I exited the cabin.
She applied some solution on my belly and prepared a vaccination. Shit! A vaccine! I closed my eyes and heard the nurse chuckle.
"Don't worry ma'am. It won't hurt. Just keep your eyes close and hold your breath until its done. You won't feel a thing."
I did as she said. I would've trusted Jenny because her vaccinations don't hurt. But I don't trust this nurse.
