There is a bright light that wakes me up. I groan and throw an arm over my eyes. I hear a cute giggle from across the room and a smile finds its way on my face. Blaine tears the blankets off of the bed causing me to curl up in a ball from the lack of warmth. He grabs my arms and pulls me up into a sitting position.
"Rise and shine sleeping beauty!" he exclaims. "We have a busy day ahead of us."
"It's the weekend! I'm supposed to be sleeping in, let me sleep in. Why do you hate me?" I mumble incoherently, flopping back onto the pillows.
He drags me back up, "Come on, Kurt! I have the best day planned for us! We are going to have the best first date ever."
Hearing this makes me shoot up, my eyes snap open, "First, first date? Today? When- when- oh my god I look awful. Blaine!"
I grab the blankets from off of the floor and throw them over my head trying to shield my mess of self from my sort-of boyfriend. Blaine only laughs and pulls the fabric down so my eyes meet his. Heat rushes to my face when I see how close his face is to mine. I look down at his lips then back up to his eyes. He leans closer brushing his lips against mine, I lean into his touch only to find his lips have been moved away from me. I pout and open my eyes again.
"Sorry hon, but I won't kiss you with morning breath," he boops me on the nose.
I glare at him, "Tease."
He only laughs and moves away from the bed, making me frown. I frown and close my eyes, laying back down.
"I'm going back to sleep."
"Nope, no you aren't. Come on Kurt please?" Blaine looks at me with his gorgeous puppy eyes. "For me?"
I groan, "Fine! Fine, I'm getting up. Just give me like an hour."
"Can you be ready in fifteen minutes?"
My eyes widen, "Fif-fifteen minutes?" His lip moves out in a pout. "I guess, if I only do a quick face cleanser, I can probably do my hair quickly... Can you give me thirty?"
He squints his eyes in thought, "I can work with thirty. Alright! Thirty minutes start now, get your cute ass out of bed and get ready for an awesome date!"
I roll my eyes at his unnecessary remark and pull myself out of the comfy safe haven. First thing's first, shortened facial routine, I splash warm water on my face aggressively and rub a bit of face wash onto my skin. After thoroughly washing my face I apply moisturizer and all the other products. Checking my watch I smile to myself, five minutes, that's a new record. Now hair, I search through the drawers filled with hair gel containers some empty some halfway filled. Why Blaine didn't throw the empty ones out, I'll never know. I stiffen my hair into its usual swoopy look with hair spray. After all of that, I pick out an outfit other than my uniform. I find a lavender-colored short sleeve button-down to match with a pair of grey khaki pants. I file through the many silky fabrics to find the perfect ascot to match, there is a new white, gold, and magenta one that I haven't worn yet.
"Kuuuurt! Are you done yet?!" Blaine wines.
I step out of the bathroom and smile at the dapper-looking boy in front of me, "Five minutes! I did my skincare routine in five minutes! That is a new record."
He moves closer to me, poking my cheek, "You are such a dork."
"Says you," I tug on his bowtie. "Come on, you have to take me on a hot date."
Blaine just laughs, grabbing my hand, we make our way through the academy. We take a short walk to the bus stop and wait patiently for the bus to arrive.
