I wake up to my alarm screaming. I look over to see Blaine still asleep, I shut it off quickly so I don't wake him. His restful face makes me smile, his hair has escaped the confinements of his hair gell and little curls frame his face. My phone buzzes snapping me out of my trance and I pick it up.

Shit, I think. I forgot to stop by the school. I call Mercedes and as soon as she picks up there is a lot of yelling, questions, more yelling, crying, more yelling.

"'Cedes, get it together!" I scold softly trying not to wake Blaine, she stops talking. "I am so sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I was going to stop by McKinley yesterday but it slipped my mind. The summary of the story is, I'm at Dalton now because I just didn't feel safe. I love all of you so much and I would never leave if I didn't have to."

"You're right, I'm sorry. As long as you are safe and happy we will all be cheering you on. Even though we are so going to beat your ass at Sectionals," she laughs.

I giggle, "Oh bring it on. I have to go, my first class is in 3 hours and I still have to shower, do my hair, do my moisturizing routine, somehow make these uniforms look unique, and eat breakfast."

"See you later boo!" Mercedes hangs up.

I place my phone on the table beside my bed, I grab the toiletry bag that Blaine constructed for me as well as a towel, clothes and all my face and hair products. As quietly as I can I sneak out the door making sure to close it behind me. The bedrooms have bathrooms, but no showers. All the showers are sectioned off into the different grade level corridors as well as the dorm rooms. Even though Blaine is a year younger his academic scores put him in his junior year with me. I hang my towel on the hook outside of the stall along with my toiletry bag and clothes.

Waking up early does have its perks sometimes, no one else is using the showers at 5:00, most guys my age love their sleep. I turn the shower on and start washing my hair. A melody runs through my head and unconsciously I start to sing it.

"I wonder if I'm being real, do I speak my truth or do I filter how I feel? I wonder, wouldn't it be nice, to live inside a world that isn't black and white?"

After completing my shower I reach for my towel and wrap it around my waist before stepping out of the stall. I grab my bag and walk over to one of the changing rooms, I change into my uniform and tousle my hair with the towel in attempts to dry it. I move back in front of the mirrors and sinks to start my facial routine, I'm off in my own world still humming Wonder. Startled from bumping into something I look up and am met with Blaine's sparkling hazel eyes.

"Oh, Blaine! Um, good morning...." I stutter.

He looks at me kindly, "You have a very nice voice."

"You, you heard that? Oh god," heat blooms in my face and I turn back to the mirror focusing on styling my hair.

"I'm serious," he pursues. "You should audition for the Warblers."

I scoff spraying hairspray to keep the coeiff in place, "I doubt they would let me in."

"Don't be so sure about that. I can be pretty convincing," Blaine whispers into my ear, my breath catches, and shivers rush down my spine. He steps away. "You should do it. I'll let them know you are, if you want you can audition tomorrow."

Blaine walks over to the showers and I can finally breathe again. God, the things he makes me feel. I let out a breath I realize I had been holding in, I turn back to the mirror and sure enough, my face is tomato red. I go back to washing my face.

-Time Skip to Breakfast-

I take a small bite of the breakfast quiche that was being served, Blaine invited me to sit with him and the Warblers but I can't face him. Not after embarrassing myself and his words that left me breathless. Gosh, I've known this guy for what a week? And I've already fallen in too deep. The bell rings and I dump the rest of my breakfast suddenly losing my appetite. Throughout the day I've avoided Blaine like the plague despite being in five out of our seven classes and having to sit right beside him for three out of the five. He didn't seem to notice, I kept my answers short whenever he asked a question.

And of course, I've already been roped into auditioning tomorrow. I have decided on singing Castle on the Hill by Ed Sheeran. The school day ends and I briskly walk to the dorms to get all the homework done. As soon as I step into my room I am met with the sight of Blaine. I groan internally and plaster a smile on my face.

"Okay I am going to be incredibly blunt, but did I do something to offend you? Just yesterday we were talking and laughing like old friends but now it feels like you have just been avoiding me," Blaine questions.

I cringe at how spot on his accusations was, "It was probably just first-day jitters."

He laughs dryly, "Is it because I heard you singing in the shower? I'm sorry I really shouldn't have said anything, your voice was just so..."

I nod for him to continue raising my eyebrows in anticipation.

"So incredibly beautiful."

"Really?" I reply shocked.

He nods, "Yeah."

"Well thank you, you're voice is gorgeous as well," I compliment, taking a step towards him. "Incredibly gorgeous."

Blaine steps towards me, "Not only is your voice beautiful you are very funny."

"You are very sweet." Step.

"And your smile lights up a room." Step.

"Your dance moves are to die for." Step.

"Well, your outfits look like they came right off the runways of Vogue." Step.

We are now practically nose to nose, staring into each other's eyes. I take a step back and I see a flash of hurt flash through his eyes though I am probably just imagining things.

"You do realize that we are wearing the same uniform right?" I laugh.

He smiles.

After a pause of awkward silence, I say, "I think I should get started on my homework."
