Chapter 6

RACES POV

I finished selling with Jojo an hour or two after lunch and we headed back to the lodge. Crutchie and Jack were already back as I made my way back to my room to empty out my pockets from selling Jojo crept in behind me. I didn't hear him because I was stuck in my own thoughts. "RACEEEEEEE" I turned around an immediately socked whoever it was behind me as hard as possible. I saw it was Jojo on the ground bleeding "JOJO SORRY I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS YOU DUMMY" I screamed at the dimwit. "Racer I'm all good" Jojo said as I sighed in relief while helping him up.

"When I came up here my intentions were to help you confess to Y/N not be attacked" Jojo said "Well if you want me to confess than you deserved to be punched" I laughed however he did not think it was funny. "Uhhh" I scratched the back of my neck "Sorry Jojo" "MmmHmmm" Jojo let out a sigh "I'm going to tell her  just let me do it myself Okay?" "When" Jojo asked getting a bit excited "Maybe tonight" "YESSS YOU TOTALLY SHOULD" Jojo yelled while Jack came in "Why it is so loud in hea- What 'appened to Jojo" "Nothing" I said before Jojo could do anything stupid.

(A FEW HOURS LATER)
Y/N POV

After work I made my way to the Lodging house as I entered walked up the steps I saw Albert on the steps looking rather angry. "Hiya Albert" I beamed. His face lightened when he saw me. He gave me a hug which I returned "Hi Heat". Then the front door opened revealing Race who took his cigar out of his mouth and also gave me a hug "Hi Racer" "Hey Y/N do you think we's could talk?" Race asked looking a bit nervous. "Sure" I said gleefully in which he grabbed my arm leading me away from the lodge. We walked through the busy streets of Manhattan until we came across a nice park.

"Wow It's so pretty" I said "Yeah it really is" he said. "So what did you want to talk about Racer" I beamed at him. "Uhhhhh well you'se see dis mornin' I accidentally said bye georgeous to you'se and then I kinda sorta realized I really like you'se Y/N. I totally understand if you don't feel the same way I just thought to let you know" He finished his statement and looked at me for any sign of something. I looked Race deep in his blue eyes and gave a smile he leaned in as I did the same thing. We slowly met in a soft kiss. When we stopped for air I breathed out "I like you too Racer"

RACES POV

"I like you too Racer" when I heard this my heart did a solid flip and I kissed her again. "Would you be my Goil?" I asked. "Yes" she smiled sweetly at me. "We should probably be getting back" Y/N said. I smirked "Only if I get another Kiss" I said and she pecked me on the lips which made my heart do yet another flip.

We got up and I wrapped my arm around her waist as she rested her head on my shoulder. We made our way back to the lodge in a comfortable silence. 

We made our way back inside the lodge to the boys unsurprisingly be rowdy but I was sure Y/N was used to this already. "Boys I've gots some news Y/N and I is nows dating" I smiled and the boys cheered and congratulated us. But I saw Albert leave the room I knew something was up and I would need to talk to him sooner or later but I pushed that though out of my mind as I enjoyed my time with Y/N.

Just then Jack walked in the room and Romeo shot up. "JACK DID YOU HEAR THE NEWS" Romeo yelled "What news" Jack grumbled "RACE HAS A GIRLFRIEND" Romeo yelled back. "Really?" My eyes met Jacks as he saw my arm around Y/N's waist. "Well congratulations to the two love birds." Everyone in the room erupted into laughter as Jack gave us a smile.

I brought Y/N over to the table where some of the boys were playing poker. "Do you'se know how to play poker?" I asked. "Yep" she said as she grabbed the dice and we started a new round.

I ended up beating everyone and declared "Well with my new riches I'll be taking you on a date" and I turned to Y/N who was smiling the most I'd ever seen. Everyone laughed as I pulled Y/N in to kiss her while some of the boys started fake gagging. "What do you say that m'lady?" I asked "Sounds Charming my good sir" she said.

"As entertain' his has been I think we all think bout' getting some sleep" Jack said as I picked Y/N up bridal style and carried her up the stairs to our room as she shrieked. "Don't worry M'lady I'se wont's drop you" I said as she laughed harder. We made our way through the door as I gently placed Y/N down on her bed. Albert was already in his bed. "Say Albert we missed you down there" I said. "He doesn't want to loose all his money gambling with you" Y/N said as she laughed. Albert never responded but I didn't quite care because I was just too happy to be with Y/N.

Next Jojo walked in as I was sitting talking to Y/N "Alright love birds quite it would ya" Jojo laughed and so did I. I gave Y/N a kiss on her forehead as I got into bed. "Night Raceie, Night Jojo, Night Albert" Y/N said.

 Wow I am so lucky to have her.

Alright so this was a bit longer and they are together so yayyyy. Also hopefully I made it up in this chapter lol
