Chapter 10

A LOT OF DIFFERENT POVS IN THIS CHAPTER BUT ITS A LONG ONE 

JOJOS POV 

Earlier with Y/N,Race, and Albert was not good, I repeat NOT GOOD. After Race and Albert tried to rip each others head off and we let go of Race I went back inside and I saw Davey and Y/N on her bunk she looked a bit dazed. "I can take it from here Dave" I said he nodded and left to look for Les. 

"Y/N" I said my voice firm, "What just happened out side" she asked in an angry tone. "I'm asking myself that too" I said. She gave a sad laugh. "Do you want to go for a walk or something to clear your mind?" I asked "Ok" 

We wandered to the park which was a peaceful sight. We only hung out at the park for maybe  an hour before deciding to grab something to eat. I swiped two red apples from a vendor cart I waited until we were out of sight and handed her the other apple.

We had a pretty good night as we were on our way back to the lodge I saw Race out of the corner of my eye. I wanted to talk to Race to figure out what happened but I also knew Y/N would definitely not want to talk to him right now. Next thing I knew I saw Spot Conlon which surprised me but I was desperate. I grabbed her hand and ran over to him "Spot" "Heya Jojo hows it rolling?" he asked "Good can you watch after her please for now" I asked but before he could say anything I was running to find Race. 

I found Race at the Races (what a surprise) "RACETRACK HIGGINS" I yelled he turned to me only to try and flee but I grabbed him before he could. "We need to come up with a plan for you to make up with Y/N" I said he nodded "Any ideas?" he asked. With that we came up with a million dollar plan. 

SPOT CONLONS POV

Today I decided to see my good pal Jack in 'hatten but that was cut short when I saw one of his newsies. He sprinted up to me with a goil behind him, "Spot" he said "Heya Jojo hows it rolling?" I asked "Good can you watch after her for now please" he asked but before a word could escape my mouth he was off. I turned to the girl who looked just as confused. "What was that?" I asked the girl. But she just looked at me then It hit me "Hey you'se the goil from da other night" I said she nodded hesitantly "Y/N Right?" she nodded again. "Oi look I'se sorry for that I'se was drunk and I'd neva do something like that to no goil" I said "It's all good" She responded. 

"Wanna go back to the lodge?" I asked "Yeah I guess" we were making our way through the streets I felt Y/Ns hand on my arm I looked and saw both Delanceys. "What" I asked but she stood frozen "Oi C'mon its fine cause they's 'fraid of me" She nodded. We walked past them only for Oscar to get right in Y/Ns face to yell "HEY LOOK ITS Y/N" in which she slapped him. Damn shes fiery and I like it.  "YOU LITTLE" but I grabbed Oscar and threw him up against the wall before soaking him real good. When I was done both Delanceys took off. "Thanks" Y/N said "Sure so now were even right?" I asked "Yes" she responded. 

We made our way to the lodge and Y/N went in to go hang out as I went to go find Jack. 

NEXT MORNING 

RACES POV 

I made my way to the gates early so I could get to Y/N and carry out my plan but I wasn't the only one with an Idea. "Why can't anything be easy" I thought to myself. I was leaning on the gate just focused on my cigar that is until Albert walked right up to me and hit me square in the jar.

"Oh hell no" I said as I spit blood out.

ALBERTS POV

I had enough of Race and once again my body betrayed me as I walked up to him and hit him straight in the jaw. I didn't even realize it until after I did it however that was not my smartest idea.

"Oh hell no" Race said he spit out some blood and before anything registered in my mind he was on top of me pounding me. When my sense came back I flung him off me and started pounding back. We brawled a bit more until Race was unconscious and I was panting heavily. Then the Delanceys came up to the gates which was not good.

"Atta Boy Albert" Morris sneered "I wanted to do that to him but nice job" Oscar laughed "Go to hell" I said back.

"Albert what the hell did you do?" Y/N's voice came up from behind me and I knew how this scene would look to Y/N. She rushed down to Race's side before she started yelling at me.

"Why did you do that?" Y/N asked her voice barely audible but the rest of the boys came up from behind us flabbergasted.

"What the actual fu-" Jack started before Y/N cut him off "Help me get him back to the lodge please"she asked in a whisper. "Here at least let me help" I said "No" she spit back at me as some of the other boys helped place Race on Mush's back. 

A FEW HOURS LATER STILL ALBERTS POV

"Albert" Y/N stated as she came up to me. I gave her a look and she lead me out of the lodge. "What were you thinking?" she asked calmly although I could tell she wasn't calm. "I wasn't" I said which wasn't really a lie. "Thanks for being honest" she chuckled. 

"Look I don't understand what happened between us but I don't really like you like that but I do really really like you as a best friend and I can't loose you" She said. It hurt a bit but I understood "I understand that Y/N I jus-" I stopped myself because I didn't really know where that sentence was going. "Can I hug ya Y/N?" I asked as she wrapped her arms around me and I did the same to her. "And can you please try to make up with Race" she looked up at me "Please" she asked again.
