Chapter 5

RACES POV 

2 WEEKS LATER 

I had woken up before everyone else in my room. I went over to Y/N who was peaceful sleeping trying to nudge her awake. But without any warning at all Jack burst into the room scaring me and I fell on top of Y/N and she let out a very painful groan as everyone else laughed as my face got as red as Al's hair. 

Y/N shoved me off her as she was clearly annoyed so I fled the room until I knew I could face her. I was definitely embarrassed and I got even more red when Y/N said "You really didn't to jump on me to wake me up" she laughed but then I did too. 

"Hey Heat why don't you'se sell wit me i'se wanna know what dumb and dumber have been teaching you'se" Said Jack "Ouch Jack" Albert said falling to the floor dramatically. We all laughed as we headed to Newies Square. We were a bit early so the gate was still locked. Just then both Delancey Brothers came up Y/N hid behind me and as we we're walking by I wrapped a protective  arm around her shoulder. "Say Morris is that the girl from the alley the other day" Oscar asked. I could feel Y/N tremble a bit in my arms before Morris got right in Y/N face and said "HEY YA  IT IS" I walked her away before anymore words could be spoken but she was on the brink of tears and I just wanted to get her away from there. 

This time Albert came up to us as we both put a few coins in his hand as he purchased papes for us. Albert came up and handed me 50 papes and the same amount for Y/N. Jack came up behind Albert and asked Y/N "Ready ta go" and she nodded her head yes. "Bye Y/N" Albert said "BYE GORGEOUS" I yelled. But before I had realized what I said the words came out and everyone was looking at me including Y/N. I grabbed the first person nearest to me which was Jojo and I forced him to come with me grabbing him by the wrist. 

We walked to our selling spot and Jojo said "I heard you call Y/N gorgeous, what's that abou-" Jojo cut himself off and yelled "YOU HAVE A THING FOR Y/N" "Shut up would ya? Do we's really need the whole woild to know" I whisper shouted at him. "ITS TRUE YOU DO" Jojo yelled again "I mean maybe I dunno she's real pretty and nice and sh-" this time I cut myself off realizing I had a thing for Y/N. "Oh no what did I do I thought to myself; OH NO ILL HAVE TO TELL HER BEFORE JOJO DOES" I thought to myself. Jojo could sense what I was thinking and smirked "I won't tell her but if you take too long than maybe" he laughed as I felt pink prick my cheeks. 

The fact that I had called Y/N gorgeous played over and over in my head as my anticipation grew. Jojo picked up on this telling me everything would be fine I should just confess to get anything awkward out of the way now. I agreed as we walked back towards the Lodge.
