Jacks POV

Today after selling we all made our way back to the lodging house when suddenly we heard a knock on the door. We looked around because everyone was already back but I went to answer it. I opened the door and was greeted by Ace he pushed pass me and came into the room.

"Spot wants to see Y/N at 10:00 on the Brooklyn bridge alone" he said plainly then left

"There's no way in hell you're going Y/N" Race said a few "yeah"s erupted but then there we some "what if he hurts her".

We all looked to Y/N to see what she was going to do and she looked fucking frightened.

"Y/N what do you want to do?" I asked

"What do you think is best?" She asked and I looked around

"I think it's probably best if she goes" Henry said

"No way" Albert,Race, and Crutchie said at the same time

"But things may be worse if she doesn't go" Specs said then we all started bickering.

"I'll go" she said quietly but loud enough everyone stopped and looked at her.

"Fine but I'm going with youse" I said as she nodded

"If anything and I mean ANYTHING happens to her Jackie You. Are. Dead" Race threatens.

I was seriously having doubts about this but I knew if Y/N wanted to go she would go.

At the bridge

Spots POV

I was looking down at the water it was pretty and gleaming with lights from the city. I felt a presence then a second and responded with "I said to come alone" I said coldly.

"Your nitwit Newsie Ace told her the information in front of everyone and you are crazy if you think I'm not coming with her" Jack said

"Stupid Ace" I said under my breath

"You know what fine it's okay I'll just find you later" I say and they both have an unsure look on their face as I glance at them once more and walk away.

Originally I wanted Y/N at the bridge to try and sweet talk her into being my girl but then I had an even better idea that I decided to put into action but first I needed to talk with the Delanceys.

Next morning

I found the delanceys stacking papes for the day as I startled them "Oi Oscar, Morris" I yelled.

They turned to face me "I have something fun for you guys to do" they turned to each other then back at me.

"Today at exactly 11:00 you're going to pull Y/N into that alley next to the brooklyn bridge and do whatever you want to her until I enter the alley then you're gonna pretend to be scared and leave then I'm gonna comfort her and bring her back to the Brooklyn lodging house after I do that you're going to go to the 'hatten lodging house and tell the boys what you did to her in detail then I'll show up with Y/N and well that's all you need to know for now" I said

They turned to each other and a sly smirk made its way to their face as they glanced at each other. "Okay Spotty Boi that works" Oscar said with the biggest smirk ever. I nodded then left.

Y/N POV

I woke up from the morning bells along with everyone else and we all started our morning routines. Today Race was finally well enough to sell again so we walked hand in hand to the gates as the Delancey brothers came up. "Hiya Racer how are you today?" Oscar asked sarcastically "Shove a sock in it Oscar" I said "If I were you I'd start being nicer to us Y/N trust me it'll be better for you" he snickers I didn't know what he meant but I just ignored it.

Race and I got our papes and decided to sell together since we hadn't really done that recently. Race said he wanted to sell near tibbys which was close to the bridge I said yes because I love the view. We separated a bit and began selling.

During me yelling the headline "SEAGULLS ATTACK MR PULITZER" I heard someone come up behind me. I turned and saw both Delancey Brothers. "Where does it say that Y/N?" Morris snickers. "Page 9, care for a pape?" I asked fake sweetly they looked at each other then Morris hoisted me over his shoulder as Oscar shoved a gag in my mouth. I was screaming as loud as I could but you could barely hear me with the gag in. We walked for only a short while when they stopped.

"Y/N we told you to be nicer to us" Morris says as he sets me down I start to make a run for it before Oscar grabs me and throws me to the ground. Just then I feel a sharp pain in my face as Oscar hits me with his brass knuckles. "You know what Morris I say we finish what we started that day in the alley" Oscar smirks. "That is the best idea you've ever had" Morris said

Oscar Hit me a few dozen more times to ensure I wouldn't fight back or run. Then Morris got on top of me and his hands made their way to his belt buckle as he started to try and undo it Oscar took this as an opportunity to undo my own pants. I started crying knowing what was about to happen.

A few minutes later

"HEY WHAT THE HEL- WAIT Y/N"

"Oh shit" Morris utters and gets off of me I breathe out a sigh of relief.

Spot charges at them as they run away and he comes up to me. He takes the gag out and starts talking.

"Oh my god Y/N are you oka- let's get you cleaned up" all I did was nod as even more tears started flowing. He picks me up bridal style and whispers "We're gonna go to the Brooklyn lodging house because it's closer is that okay?" He asks and I nod into his shirt as I sob.
