**Chapter 30-Walkers?**

I decide to let Daryl have his room and I walk up into Hershel's house and into Maggie's room, "Hey Maggie?" I ask. She looks up from her bed, "Hey Jade. What's up?" She asks. "Ummm... Any chance I could sleep in here on your floor?" I ask, she frowns, "Of course. But can I ask what happened?" She asks, "I need to give Daryl his room, we had quite a predicament" I say shrugging. "Hold on, I'll go get a snack and I'll grab Andrea and Beth" she says and dismisses herself.

I sit on her bed for a few minutes before standing up and browsing her bedroom, I brush my fingers across her dresser and walk to her China hutch, I see a picture of me her and Beth when we were twelve, I smile remembering that particular moment,

We were celebrating Maggie's 12 birthday and as I walk in she tackles me, we both fall over howling in laughter.
Later that night all of us girl played truth or dare. "I dare you to ride down the steps in a sleeping bag" Beth says, considering she was only 9 at the time I took on her dare, "Ok, let's go" I said with a smile.
So I stuff myself into the sleeping bag and get ready to go down, Susan released the sleeping bag a bit too early and I went tumbling down the stairs, I hit the bottom and crawl out cradling my elbow, "Oh my Gosh Susan! You weren't supposed to let go yet!" I joke, "Let's go see my Dad" Maggie says.
Turns out I broke my elbow that night-

"Hey sorry. It took me a minute" Maggie says with a smile, "Hey. I was just thinkin bout your 12 birthday party" I joke, she smiles from ear to ear, "I still can't believe you did that" Beth pipes up, "Oh, that was nothin" I joke and flop myself backwards onto Maggie's bed. We talk, laugh and do girly things for the remainder of the night.

{Daryl's P.O.V.}
I still can't believe I blew up on er that wasn't right. And that's on me. So I went to apologize for ma stupidity. "Rick? Have you seen Jade?" I ask, "I saw er and the girls walk into the house, guess its a girls night" T-Dog says, I walk into the house and up the steps, I hear Jade laughin and tellin a story, I walk past and go to the bathroom, Jade is sitting criss cross on the floor, she puts a chip in her mouth then throws her head back in laughter as Maggie retells a memory of the past.

I go to the bathroom and take a shower before heading back to my tent. Then I lay down and try to go to sleep. With everything I do I can't get to sleep. Damnmit! I need Jade to be laying next to me. I'm most definitely gonna set things straight tomorrow.
