Daryl's P.O.V.
I wake up to Carl screaming, "They took Jade! Dad! They've got her! They came out of the woods and They got her!" he yells running around the prison frantically. I don't even hesitate, I jump down the steps and run over to him, "Who's got her? Carl, slow down, what are you talking about?" Rick ask grabbing his shoulders, "The people from Woodbury, we were hunting and the tree fell on her leg, she told me to run and tell you that she's at Woodbury. Dad, they got her!" he says panicking.
My heart is about ready to jump out of my chest, they got her, they have Jade. I swear to God I'm gonna kill him. I'll kill em' all. I'm so full of rage, "Rick we have ta go get er" I say grabbing my bow. "Yes, Daryl we will but we need to do this in an organized fashion, we can't risk the lives of everyone in the group" he says, "Then I'll go by myself. I'm not sitting around here waiting, imagine what they could be doing to her right now, Rick" I exclaim, he pauses for a moment. "Ok. I need volunteers to go with us, only 4, space is limited and we need the majority of us here in case this is a diversion" Rick says, "I'm going" Glenn says stepping forward. "That makes 3, we need one more person" Rick says, "My name is John. I'll go. I know the place and I can keep you guys from walking into trouble" some dude volunteers, "Ok, We got 4, let's go" I say, "Daryl, settle down. We can't just up and leave, we need gear and weapons. Guys, get ready, we leave in 10 minutes" he says. I walk back up to the perch, as I'm going up the steps a memory pops into my head. It was when we first got to the prison,
"This is gonna enjoy great!" Carol says excited as everyone piles into cells, "I call the perch, I'm not sleeping in a cage" I say, "Jade, you sleepin up here?" I ask, "Hell yeah. I'm not sleeping in a box, and I'm not sleeping in a cell" she says walking up the steps. I smirk and kiss her forehead.
And just like that the memory is gone. I grab my photo and put it in my shirt pocket, I put a knife in my boot and one in my back pocket. I fling my bow over my shoulder and head back down the steps.
"Carl, you keep this place tied up till I get back" Rick says telling his son goodbye. "Come on Rick, we're burnin daylight" I say a bit impatiently and head out. We get in our cars and head out, I can't even focus I'm so worried.
"Daryl, she's fine. If you know her like I know her, you know she can handle herself" Glenn says. I completely forgot he was riding with me, "Yeah but she can't go against an entire town" I counter, "No, but she's good at escaping and running away" he says, "What are you saying, Glenn?" I ask, "No. Daryl, I didn't mean it like that. She's the strongest person I've met, well besides you of course. I'm just saying I believe she's fine" he says, I grunt and look out the window.
We've been driving for hours and I'm getting really nervous, what if she's not even there? What if the town is deserted and I never see her again? I just lost Merle I can't lose her too. pull over and everyone gets out, "What's going on?" I ask, "We can't just drive in there and we don't want the cars to be heard so we're walking the rest of the way" Rick says. I start walking, Glenn is leading us, followed by the guy from woodbury, John, then Rick then me. We're walking fast and I try to focus on positive thoughts but I just can't. Not until I know she's ok.

We get to Woodbury and we're walking around cautiously, we go through a house and some guy is inside. I tackle him before he screams, "Have you seen this girl?" I ask pulling out her picture, he nods, "Yeah. She's gone though. She's at the arena, the Walkers got her" he says, I knock him out and storm off, the group hot on my heels
We all walk together, against the building, I see the arena in the distance. There are 3 Walkers devouring what's left of a body, oh God, we walk closer.
"No! No! No!" I sob and pace back and forth, I fall to my knees in shock. I get up my anger broiling in my vains, "Those motherfuckers killed her!" I shout and sit on the bleachers with my head in my hands, I can't breathe, this is too much. I can't believe Jade is gone...
