Go to school then come home. Go to school then come home. Go to school then come home. The places I can go now that my parents know about me & Dominic. They even tried to take me out his class but couldn't because the others for language was full. Honestly, they're overreacting.

Me & him have never had sex or done anything remotely close to it. At the most it was little kisses here & there, holding hands, spending time together, talking, & texting. Nothing more. Basically just your typical 14 year old relationship. I know it sounded bad but it's really not. Anyways, i'm in his class right now, which is Spanish, arguing with my parents in a damn group text.

They want me to stay away from him & yadda yadda but i've already made up my mind about everything. "Ms. Higgins, is there any particular reason as to why you're so distracted today in my class?", Mr. Lopez called from the front of the class. I looked up from my phone seeing almost the entire class looking at me. I quickly shook my head, "No, just thinking. I'll pay better attention", I responded. He nodded, "I'll hold you to your word. Now as I was saying-". I tuned him out because my phone started vibrating over & over again.

I picked it up off my desk pissed & annoyed, not even thinking about it when I texted back.

'Me: Will u 2 fckn stop txtn n dis group txt & fckn argue jst y'all? I'm n class & my phone won't stop goin off cuz y'all & idgaf bout wat y'all arguing bout now!'

Right after I pressed send my phone was taken out my hand. "What the f-", I closed my mouth looking up at a pissed looking Mr. Lopez. "After school I'd like to have a word with you when you come back to get your phone", he said putting my phone in his pocket then went back to the front of the class. I shrugged because at least now I didn't have to deal with my parents while he had my phone so I didn't really care. When the bell rung everyone practically ran out of class to go home. I don't blame them, it's officially the weekend & who wants to stay somewhere longer than they have to? Exactly, nobody.

I took my time because I had to wait for whoever to pick me up & I really needed to talk to Dominic. When everyone was gone he closed the door & sat on his desk watching me. I went up to the front of the class & sat in front of him on one too. He sighed, "What had you so distracted today?", he asked. "My parents", I responded. "Is everything ok?", he asked.

I shook my head giving him a tired smile. "Honestly, no. They're always arguing & mama kicked daddy out then we all argue over us. It's just all really old & i'm over it", I said. He nodded getting up off his desk & walking up to me. He tilted my head back & kissed me on the lips. It was gentle & sweet with no tongue involved just lip. When we broke the kiss he pecked my lips & hugged me.

"Feeling better baby?", he asked. I nodded hugging him back. His body felt so good against mine. His arms felt so warm & safe. I'm gonna miss this. "Yeah, thank you", I responded. He squeezed me before letting go & stepping back.

I felt my eyes watering a little because I really didn't want to do this. I want to be with him but I know better. "Dominic, ¿te acuerdas de cuando nos reunimos por primera vez? (Dominic do you remember when we first got together?)", I asked. He nodded with a smile showing his deep dimples I love to poke at & he mine. "Sí, fue uno de los mejores días de mi vida y yo esperaría tuya también bebé. (Yeah, it was one of the best days of my life and I would hope yours too baby.)", he responded.
I bit my lip looking away from him. I'm going to miss seeing that smile just for me, because of me. "Fue y yo no lo olvidará jamás. Era tan normal, ¿sabes? Luego llego aquí a su clase y nos vimos. Era como el tiempo se detuvo para ese momento en que nos miramos el uno al otro. Quiero decir, por lo menos lo hizo por mí. (It was and I won't ever forget it. It was so normal, you know? Then I get here to your class and we saw each other. It was like time stood still for that moment we stared at each other. I mean, at least it did for me.)", I said.

He chuckled, "No pasó nena. (It did babe.)", he said. I sighed, "Después de la clase me pediste que quedarse porque querías hablar conmigo. Querías que te ayude a ponerse al día en donde nuestro viejo maestro dejó entonces nos pusimos a hablar. Era simplemente normal pero en algún lugar durante la próxima semana tuvimos nuestro primer beso y se sentía tan natural. Es el ser tan natural con usted bebé. Me haces sentir como que estamos es igual y que estar contigo es lo que me corresponde, pero... (After class you asked me to stay because you wanted to talk to me. I didn't want to say it & he knew it.

He probably did as soon as I asked if he remembers when we first got together. "We should breakup", he said finishing it. For himself or me, I don't know but he finished it. I nodded wiping away the tear that fell down my face. I heard him sigh before he was turning my head so I was forced to look at him. I bit my lip, "No hagas eso. No llores bebé. Siempre serás mi bebé, pero esto es para mejor en este momento. Si te gusta algo, entonces lo dejas ir, ¿verdad? (Don't do that. Don't cry baby. You will always be my baby but this is for the better right now. If you love something then you let it go, right?)", he said wiping away my tears.

"Sí, y si estaba destinado a ser va a volver a usted. (Yeah, & if it was meant to be it will come back to you.)", I responded. He smiled that same smile I love so much. "And I always will come back to you Aaliyah. I love you but right now we can't be together. You're so young baby & although it's not really a problem to me, it is to everyone else. I promise nothing will really change except for the couple like behavior. You can still always talk to & text me. That will never change between us but right now there can't be an us. I love you mi amor (my love)", he said & pulled me into a hug letting me cry into his chest.

"I love you too Dominic", I responded hugging him back. I kissed the top of my head & held me while rocking us side to side whispering sweet nothings to me. When I calmed down we pulled back some & shared one last kiss. It started off gentle & sweet before somehow our tongues got involved but we toned I back down to being innocent. He pecked my lips once, twice, three times before pulling back all the way taking a step back from me. He reached into his back pocket & pulled out my phone holding it out to me.

"Here's your phone back Ms. Higgins. I hope that you won't be so distracted again in my class next time", Dominic said. I took it putting it in my pocket, "No promises Mr. Lopez but I will try", I responded. He nodded going around his desk & sitting down in his chair. "That's all that I ask Aaliyah", he said with a smile. I nodded getting off the desk & leaving. It hurt but I feel like I got closure.

There is no more us between me & Dominic. When I walked outside I instantly spotted my uncle's car. Yup, Uncle Maddison is picking me up so I know something's up. When I got in the car we pulled off & went to his house. I was confused as hell because I almost never went to Uncle Maddison's house unless it was a function so yeah. He turned to me after cutting the car off, "Your parents ass in jail. Let's go", he said & got out of the car like what he just said was nothing. "What!?", I yelled.

«Lol I forgot how old Aaliyah was. In my mind I thought she was 16 but when I went back to check their ages it came to be 14. So I decided I had to end it because she's barely a damn teenager. The Spanish part is all courtesy of Google translate so if something is off, blame Google. I had started writing this tha same night I wrote Josiah's chapter but it was late & I didn't really know what to right. Anyways, vote, comment, you could do both I won't be mad if you do.
