Josiah pulled me down covering my body with his like a blanket. Is it weird that I wasn't all that scared? I mean, my mama has guns at home & has even taken us to a gun range so this isn't that bothersome to me. What does bothers me is that we're getting shot at 'n' shit. JoJo got up pulling me with him & practically dragged me behind him. We did not stay in the park following the first few shots.

No we ran right out that bitch zigzagging. I don't know where everybody else is but hopefully they got away. Me & JoJo were crossing a street when we spotted Geo, Jer, Adriana, & Aaliyah up ahead resting. When we got close enough for them to easily hear us we called out to them. They all looked at us scared then a bitch before relaxing. "Everybody good?", Josiah asked.

"Damn i'm glad a nigga runs track now", Geo said slightly panting. "Where's Omarr, Dee, Cali, & Khilee?", Adriana asked. "They're not with y'all?", I asked dumbly. "Damn", I heard JoJo curse under his breath. "Look y'all make your way to Dee's house. I'm goin' to go find them", he said. "No, you are not going looking for them alone. You gone fuck around & get shot", Geo said making JoJo screwed his face up at him.

"Pardon bitch, I don't recall asking you shit", he said with an attitude. Geo screwed his face up at him. "I don't give a f-" "Hey, fuck y'all argument we need to keep moving. I don't know about the rest of y'all but I don't wanna die on no damn street because of a damn argument", Aaliyah cut in looking around. I nodded, "She's right. We don't have time for this petty shit. I'm going with JoJo-" "Me too", Jeremiah cut in.

"No ya ass ain't", JoJo & Geo said in unison. We rolled our eyes, "Yeah we are", we responded in unison. "He's not going by himself", I said. "It'll be safer to have back-up & not saying we don't care about everybody else, but those are our big sisters out there. We need to split up & go find them while getting help at the same time. So we're going to find them no matter what anybody has to say while y'all go to Dee's house & let our parents know what's up", Jeremiah finished explaining. Nobody said anything but we all ducked down when more gunshots was heard near by. "Remi, please don't go get your fucking self killed. I promise you I will resurrect your ass just to kill you again", Geo said through clenched teeth before grabbing the front of Jeremiah's shirt & yanking him into a kiss.

I would've awed & cooed but this wasn't the time, especially when all of us was antsy & anxious as hell. When they broke the kiss they shared 2 more specks before pulling all the way apart. Geo nodded to himself, "C'mon Ali, Ade", he said starting to walk backwards. They started to protest but the look he gave them made them bring their asses before he turned around & they took off running again. Me, Jer, & JoJo started walking then picked it up to a jog back the way we came.

Instead of going to the park we cut a left 2 streets before it & ran in that direction. "So you gone tell us who the fuck was shooting at us Josiah now while it's just us or later with everybody else?", Jeremiah asked. "Right now isn't the time", he responded. "Well when the fuck is Josiah? I wanna know why we almost fucking died at the park?", Jeremiah said. "Jer now really isn't the time. We need to find O, Dee, Cal, & Khi so shut up & keep your eyes open before we fucking get gunned down because of y'all 2", I snapped in irritation.

After that we all ran in silence checking to see if we were followed taking the occasional break in a hiding spot. We were getting ready to run again but we heard someone coming so I grabbed dumb & dumber pulling them in the bushes behind us. We were peeping out to see who it was when Jeremiah went out. I was about to grab him because it was dark as hell so I couldn't really tell who it was. All that I knew was that it was 2 of them. But Josiah shook his head & went out too. They drug them into the bushes where we were & then I could tell that it was Khilee & London.

I wasn't really paying attention to what they were saying to each other because I was keeping lookout but I occasionally glanced at them. I know Delilah's house is the closest but I wasn't sure how. "Do anybody know who the fuck was shooting at us?", Cali whisper yelled. "Doesn't matter. We need to keep moving", Khilee whispered & everyone nodded their heads in agreement. Khilee checked to see if the coast was clear before leading everybody further away. We kept a good pace all making sure we weren't being followed.

We were really close to Dee's house when gunshots rang out again.  We were passing a car when the window was shot out. "Split up!", Khilee yelled sprinting after pushing Cali, whose hand she was holding the entire time, away. I heard footsteps behind me but I didn't dare look back. A few seconds later I felt someone running next to me but I didn't check to see who because I knew it was one of us. Pop! Pop! Pop! More gunshots.

The gunshots sounded close, really close. Me & Jer was running behind Cal but she slowed down slowing to a stop. We ran pass her but stopped a few feet away when we realized she wasn't running anymore. Something told me to go back. I turned around only to see her sprinting back the way we came. "Cali!", me & Jeremiah called running after her. 

"To be pregnant her ass can run", I panted out running alongside Jer. He chuckled out of breath too before calling out to Cali again. Suddenly she stopped & if we weren't paying attention we would've ran right into her. "Khilee!", Cali screamed. I was hunched over with my hands on my knees trying to catch my breath & when  looked up I saw JoJo running in slow motion then someone screamed.
