Falling For You

A couple of weeks have passed and Lexa and Clarke have spend some time together. Lexa goes to work, Clarke paints and the sometimes eat dinner together. They love to cook for each other and they end up watching Netflix until late and then part ways and the other goes home. The thing is, they are both finding it hard to do that. They linger as long as they can and they have felt really close. They have not really kissed again since the night after the party and confessed how they feel for each other. Lexa knows she feels deeper for Clarke and sometimes it scares her. Clarke knows she feels more for Lexa and she is scared too though somehow, they both can't help that drawing towards the other. The one thing that keeps playing on Lexa's mind is that Clarke will be leaving by summers end and if she lets herself have deeper feelings for the blonde, it will hurt when she has to say goodbye. She also just wants to be near Clarke and just forget about everything else, just enjoy what time she has with her because this is the first time since Costia she has felt this. She thinks she could feel more for Clarke.

Clarke has Lexa on her mind so much that she has painted it in great detail. She is not quiet sure how Lexa will feel about her painting her but hopes when she shows her she will love it. She wants to put it in her Gallery. She has a show coming up at end of summer and maybe she can showcase them. Clarke's feelings for Lexa are more than what she intended to feel. She thought after having her heart broke she couldn't feel for anyone again. Then Lexa walks into her life. Literally down the beach and into her life. She thought they could be just friends but she knows now her feelings are growing for her. What will she do? She is leaving at the end of summer and long distance relationships don't usually work out. At this point, she knows she wants Lexa to be in her life, even if it has to be as a friend   and nothing more. The thing is, she wants more, she doesn't like the idea of Lexa being with someone else but what can she do? She thinks she will just enjoy what time she has with Lexa and make the best of it.

Lexa sits in her office after meetings today and going through emails and as she leans back in her chair looking out the window over the city, it is almost time to go home. She wants to go by Clarkes but should she? Is she making this harder for Clarke? For herself? Since they danced and she got to hold Clarke, she has wanted nothing more than to hold her again, to kiss her and the thought of making love to her has crossed her mind more than once. Those blue eyes of Clarke's melts her and she wants to be near her all the time. She does not even realize that Anya has entered her office until she hears her name being called, "Lexa, are you ok?" "What? Oh yes, I am fine, sorry, I didn't hear you", said Lexa. Yeah, I got that, you were in another world looks like", Anya said. "Its been a long day and I was just trying to wind down, I need to head home I guess", said Lexa. "You sure that is all that is wrong", asked Anya. Lexa hesitates, then says, yeah, I'm sure, just a rough day". Anya smiles at her and says, "Well, maybe you and Clarke can hang out and she can make you feel better!" "What? Come on Anya, Clarke and I are friends, Lexa defends. "I know but I also know both of you are afraid to move any further because she will be leaving but I see it in both of your eyes, the way you look at each other, it's getting deep", Anya says.
Lexa looks at her, "Anya, how can I get closer to her and her leave? I want to just forget it all and just be with her while she is here but when she leaves, Oh god, I just don't know!" "Wow sis, you really do like her don't you", Anya asks looking at Lexa seriously. Lexa runs her hand through her hair, sighs and says, Yes An, I do, I really do, but I am afraid when she has to leave, she will just leave and not take a second thought to me, it will be easy for her to just fo back home. Then again, I think Clarke feels deeper for me too by the way she looks at me and how she acts with me when we are together." "Well, I see the way she looks at you and I can tell you right now, she feels more for you and I don't think it is going to be as easy for her to leave, says Anya. "Besides, Raven says she had never seen Clarke like this, and she loves that Clarke is happy again. Raven also said, that she has never seen Clarke look at anyone the way she looks at you". Lexa looks at Anya with a small smile and she feels her heart skip a beat. The thought of Clarke feeling this way has Lexa feeling some kind of way too. In her mind she thinks they need to talk but is still afraid. Lexa says, well, for now, I am going to invite Clarke over and make her dinner and watch movies, we will see how it goes, just please don't say anything to Raven. I will know the right time to say something." Anya smiles and says, I have never told your secrets and I am not about to start now, You will know, like you said, in the meantime just enjoy things with her." "You're right, and now I need to plan dinner so get out of here and let me wrap things up here for the day so I can go too," she says with a little push to Anya. After Anya leaves, Lexa smiles to herself and picks up her phone to call Clarke.

       Clarke hears her phone ringing and looks to see who it is and she smiles and answers, "Hello there!" "Hey to you too", Lexa is almost beaming through the phone. "So, to what do I owe the pleasure of Lexa Woods calling me, Clarke asked. Lexa hears a small giggle and it sends her heart into a spin, "well, I thought if you wanted to, I'd make you dinner tonight, if that is ok with you".  "That would be just fine with me, I love your cooking. I think I am getting spoiled a bit, Clarke says laughing and Lexa is getting more addicted. "Awesome, can you be here around say, 6:00, this way we can hang out while I am cooking too", Lexa says kind of nervous. "yes, that's good for me, it will give me plenty of time to work on the final touches of one of my paintings  and then I get to hang out with a beautiful woman"., Clarke says. She thinks she is blushing and tries to hide her face only to realize that Lexa can't see her. 'ok, well great, I guess I will see you at 6:00 then", Lexa says. They say their goodbyes and Clarke goes back to her painting with a huge smile on her face and a pep in her step and Lexa finishes up with things at the office before heading home to cook for Clarke. Yeah, they have it bad.
