Beauty on the Balcony

First Proposal

Lincoln has been planning how he will propose to Octavia and he has just about has everything ready. Lexa has agreed to have a dinner at their place and it would be lights everywhere on the deck. They have a fire pit going for the romantics of it and the light chill that sometimes comes in the night air by the ocean. All the food is being prepared by chefs because Lexa wants everyone to enjoy the evening so she hires them. Music is playing and filling the air. She wants this to be special for Lincoln so he can ask his love to marry him. Lexa and Clarke are the only ones who know. Everyone begins arriving at Lexas and is in love with the way everything looks. Lexa is so glad everyone is happy with it because she knows it will help Lincoln too. When she put him over the gym, she knew he would be perfect for it and would make sure it all ran smooth and she wouldn't have to go behind him or second guess him. She trust him, just as she does with Anya with the Club. She can run her company and not worry, and she knows her siblings will have stable incomes and fruits.  She loves making sure her family is taken care of. She also has money put away for any future nieces and nephews she may have so they can go to college or whatever it is they want to do after high school. She has a nest egg too for her children knew day.

Lexa is out on the deck making sure all is in order when Anya walks out to greet her, "Wow sis, I must say, you have done a great job on all this, but just for a family dinner? Lexa laughs and looks at her, "I just thought I'd make it extra nice, you know, and who can beat the best view in the area huh?" "You are so very right on that. I may have to get Raven to dance with me out here since it looks so nice and romantic," Anya says wiggling her eyebrows. "Well you just do that then and I think I will ask Clarke too!" Lexa says smiling. "Ask me what gorgeous?" Clarke asked as she came out onto the deck. "Do dance later beautiful,  right here under the stars and by the sea." Lexa puts her arms around Clarke and kisses her. "Mmm, that might just get you that dance Ms Woods," and she kisses her back again. "Ok ok, I am walking away now before you too start ramming your tongues down each others throats.!" Ayna laughs and walks into the house. Clarke and Lexa talk about how happy they are for Lincoln and cant wait to see the look on each others faces. It runs through Lexas mind how she would love to one day propose to Clarke. She knows she wants to spend her life with her. She is the one for it, Clarke is it for her. They have known each other a couple of months but to her, it feels like she has known Clarke for so much longer. She cant think of that now, this is Lincoln and O's night and she will do all she can to make it special. Everyone has arrived and they sit down to have dinner. The spread was amazing. So much food, wine, and desserts. They all sit and talk for the longest time. Lincoln seems to have calmed some. After eating, Lexa turns up the music some and they all get up to dance. They dance as couples, swap up for fun, they dance in groups and just enjoy family time. They are all dwindling down from dancing.  The night has gone well. Lincoln is getting anxious now and signals Lexa. She knows what to do. "Hey everyone, I thought it would be nice of we all just take a nice walk down the beach, let's go." She motions with her hand and everyone agrees it would be nice. She needs to get them down close to Bells old beach house. Lincon wants to not only propose but to surprise Octavia with the news of buying the house. He will share that news first. Then he will propose. As they walk, they are all being goofy and playing around, just enjoying each other. They are carefree and having fun. Lexa and Clarke, on cue, have slowed down and looked out to the ocean to give the others a chance to stand around. Nothing out if the ordinary. She looks to Lincoln and he knows it's his turn now. Lincon grabs Octavias hand and he gets everyone's attention.  "Um, guys, I have something I want to share with you but I neded to be here in order to do that. Octavia looks at him puzzled. He turns Octavia to face the house that was once her brother's. He stands in front of everyone and says, "Well, I thought it was time to upgrade out of that appartment and so I spoke with Bellamy before he left and well, Octavia, baby, I bought us the house!" He looks at her nervous. "You bought a house, wait, US a house? Lincoln, you bought us a house?" She is saying this while she has taken a few steps closer to the house and looking at it with her hands over her mouth and tears in her eyes. Linc looks at Lexa who is smiling, she is motioning for him to go on and mouths it, "go on". Anya and Raven have wrapped each other up and is smiling too. Anya and Lexa are so proud of their brother and happy. Lincoln has turned back around towards Octavia and says, "Well, yeah, if it's ok with you." He is waiting patiently and he gets down on one knee behind her and holds out the ring. Anya and Raven flip and they are all smiling so big and waiting. Octavia is turning around while saying "What do you mean if it's ok wi".. and she sees him. He is looking at her with such love and so nervous. She has tears running down her face and she is looking at him and to all the others then back to him. "Baby, I knew the moment I laid my eyes on you, after talking, video chatting, texting, I just knew that you are the one for me, the one I want to grow old with, Octavia,  I love you so much and if you would have me and let me make you happy, I want to marry you. O, WILL YOU MARRY ME AND MAKE ME THE HAPPIEST MAN ON EARTH?" She is already stepping to him, "YEEESSS, oh god yes, I will marry you, I love you too Lincoln!" He stands up and grabs her up and he kisses her! Everyone is cheering behind them! He sets her down and takes the ring and puts it on her finger and kisses her again. The others all run to them now and hug them. After hugging and congratulating they all go look at the house, though they have seen it, this time it is empty and they get visuals from Octavia and Linc of where and how they will decorate and set things up. Anya tells Lexa thank you for doing all this for Lincoln and Octavia. Then they all walk back to Lexas and really have a party! Lexa watches at one point at her family and just smiles with a warm heart. She looks at Clarke and thinks how she is her family too. Then she goes and gets her and they dance into the night.
