I Could Get Used To This

On Monday Lexa has to go back to work and all she wants to do is stay with Clarke. As she gets ready for work, Clarke is in the kitchen making pancakes, Lexa walks down the stairs and sees her and her breath catches. Clarke is standing at the stove and she is swaying her hips and humming. She is wearing an oversized t shirt and it looks like she isn't wearing panties  but she is. Her hair is up and a clip and Lexa thinks she is the most beautiful. She walks in and up behind Clarke and wraps her arms around her waist and nuzzles into her neck and smells her. Clarke hums and lays her head back on Lexa. Lexa looks around and at Clarke and they share a small kiss. "Mm, good morning." Clarke says good morning too and puts pancakes on plates for them to sit down and eat. "Smells good, I an hungry." Lexa says as she sits. Clarke sits across from her and the bar and they eat. "I can't believe it's Monday already and you have to leave and go to work, " Clarke says pouting. "I know, me either and I'd love to stay here with you and just be lazy with you. I could think of a few things I could occupy my time with," Lexa says and winks. "Now Ms. Woods, I am already not wanting you to leave so don't make it worse." Clarke says pouting more. They finished eating and Lexa takes the plates and puts them in the sink and then turns to Clarke, she pulls her close to her, looks at her and says, I think I can get out a bit earlier, maybe around 1:00 so...kiss..Ms...kiss...Griffin..kiss...how about when I get back, we just hang out and be lazy together the rest if the day and watch some movies. We will order Chinese for dinner?" Clarkes smiles and says, "That sounds like a great idea Ms Woods," and she presses her lips to Lexa's and they share a long, passionate kiss. After the kiss, Lexa's says, "If I don't leave now, I wont leave at all and as much as I hate to, I do have a couple of things I need to do at work but, I will see you in a little while." "Oh ok, Clarke says, if you must." She walks Lexa to the door and she kisses her again, "I'll be right here gorgeous." Lexa's smiles and says, "I can't wait, see you in a bit beautiful." Lexa leaves for work and Clarke goes back in, cleans the kitchen and then walks out on the back deck that overlooks the ocean. She misses Lexa already and thinks of how nice it was to go to sleep next to her last night and wake up to her this morning. Clarke is happier than she has ever been and she knows now that she does not want to lose Lexa. She decides that today, she will go building hunting to find a place for a gallery. Polis is looking more like home to her. She calls Raven to see if she wants to go with her and this way they could spend some time together too. Raven agrees.
  They meet in town and get coffee and spend time looking for buildings. "You know I am super excited about you doing this right?" Raven says. Clarke hooks her arm in Ravens and says, "I'm glad. When you moved here, I understood you moved for your job and I don't blame you at all. I just missed you so much. I have been here a not even a couple of months and I love it." "Well, I wish you would have stayed with me while you are here for the summer too but I understand you wanted quiet and privacy for your painting. I know how you get when you are in paint mode!"  they both laugh. Clarke tells her that with the painting she will do for Cage Wallis, it will allow her to invest in another building. She has decided she will either have both places or sell the one in D.C. and just buy one huge place. "Clarke that is amazing and I am so happy for you. If anyone deserves this, its you." "That means a lot Rae and I have thought a lot about this over this past couple of weeks, I have thought about a good bit of things actually." Clarke says. Raven looks at her and says, "I see the way you and Lexa look at each other, how close you are and I know she means something to you for you to let her in like you have. It would be hard for you to leave now, since getting involved with her and falling in love with her." Clarke snaps her head around and looks at Raven. "Oh now don't give me that look, I know you Clarkie! You have fallen in love with Lexa and you want to stay here now because you can't bare the thought of being away from her and the thing is, she feels the same way about you," Raven says smiling, you need this, it's a good thing." Clarke smiles and says, You are right about all of it. To be honest, we slept together." Raven stops and looks at Clarke, "What? You mean you SLEPT, slept together, as in you had sex?" Clarke turns red and says, "yes, and Raven, it was Amazing, I never thought someone could make me feel like that, I mean, she is good at everything! After what happened she was so good with me, she never pushed and was willing to stop at any point just for me if I couldn't do it. All I wanted to do was make love to her. She was gentle and yet strong, passionate, aggressive but yet so soft, the perfect combination of everything I needed and wanted, AND we both confessed our love to each other."  Raven hugs her and tells her how happy she is and that she is happy she and Lexa have each other now. Clarke tells her about EVERYTHING and swears her to secrecy. "Well, no wonder you want to stay now!" Raven says and they both laugh.

After walking a little bit and looking at numbers on buildings, Clarke found the one she was looking for. She had found the listing in the paper and wanted to at least come look at it. She found out the asking price and how large of a space it was. She calls the number of the owner and sets up a meeting to look at it more thorough. It is set for the next week. Clarkes doesn't want to rush but also doesn't want to wait too long either. She asked Raven not to say anything to anyone, not even Anya. If she is going to do this, she wants it to be a surprise. She tells Raven goodbye afterwards and wants to be back at Lexas by the time she gets off work and gets home. She is ready to see her girlfriend.

Lexa is trying to wrap things up at work and Anya calls. "Hey An." "Hey sis, just checking in on you and wanted to know how Clarke is." Anya says. "She is good. We got all of her things from Bellamys and she is settled in at my place. We just chilled all day Sunday, we both needed it." Lexa said. "That's good, I am glad she is there with you. I know you wont let anyone bother her. Must be nice having your girlfriend there huh?" Said Anya. Lexa laughs and says, yeah, actually it is. I love her being there. I didn't even want to leave her this morning." Lexa said. "You slept together didnt you?" Amya asked with an excitement in her voice. Oh my god An, is that all you can say? And yes, we did and it was the most amazing I have ever had!" Lexa says. "Well good for you sis." Anya says and they both laugh. "I wasn't going to push anything even though I was going crazy just being near her and she is the one who initiated it. I made sure though before we went there. Anya, it was everything I needed and wanted. She is amazing. I told her I loved her and An, she loves me back, she really loves me!" Lexa says and she can feel her eyes getting watery. Anya tells her, "Lex, if anyone deserves this it is you. I am so happy for you." "Thanks Anya. I told her I'd take off at 1:00 so we could just have the rest if the day to be lazy and spend time together. So I am about to head home." Said Lexa. ""Wow, you taking off work? This is serious. Well, go home and enjoy your time and we can talk later, love you." Anya says. Love you too An, and thanks again. Bye. They hang up and Lexa can't wait to get home to her girlfriend.
